Emilia Clarke reveals she has a huge crush on Stormzy after splitting from her DJ boyfriend

Emilia Clarke has gushed about her celebrity crush.

The 39-year-old Game of Thrones actress shared that she enjoys Stormzy’s music and is a big admirer of him as a person.

Emilia recently told the Daily Mail that she always listens to Stormzy’s music to get ready for parties. She shared this at the Global Gift Gala in London last week, held at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel.

Upon learning the British musician was single after breaking up with both Maya Jama and Victoria Monet, Emilia excitedly exclaimed, ‘Well, consider me interested! Everyone can start pairing us up now!’

Emilia and her boyfriend, Sebastian Fox, reportedly ended their relationship in January after dating for four months.

The celebrity and the DJ were first seen together in November 2024, but after publicly acknowledging their relationship, they apparently realized it wasn’t a good fit and have now broken up.

Bassi first gained recognition as a member of the dream-pop band Mt. Wolf, which had previously been highlighted as one of Clash Magazine’s ‘Ones To Watch’.

Prior to that, Emilia dated director Charlie McDowell in 2019. He later married Lily Collins, known for her role in the show Emily in Paris, in 2021.

Lately, Emilia has been busy with both her acting career and her charitable efforts, having just finished filming for two big television shows.

I’m so excited to see her next year! She’s joining the cast of the Criminal series on Amazon Prime Video alongside Charlie Hunnam, which I know is going to be amazing. And on top of that, she’s also landed a lead role in a new espionage thriller called Ponies – she’s really taking off, and I can’t wait to see everything she does!

The actress also dedicates her time to her charity, SameYou, which works to improve care for people with brain injuries. It aims to fill a significant need in this area.

Emilia Clarke, known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, experienced brain bleeds in 2011 and 2013. She has described these health issues as significantly changing her life.

After filming the first season of Game of Thrones, she suffered a brain hemorrhage that almost put her in a coma and resulted in her losing the ability to speak.

I’ve been following Emilia’s story, and it’s truly remarkable. After discovering a second tumor, she unfortunately needed surgery. Scans revealed it had grown significantly, but what’s incredible is that she’s one of very few people to not only survive, but also to be completely healthy afterward – she’s said she’s experienced no lasting effects, which puts her in a really rare category.

She now co-leads her charity with her mother, Jennifer Clarke. She explains that both of them have faced serious health challenges – she’s experienced two brain haemorrhages, and her mother has had two aneurysms, one of which received treatment.

We’ve seen that the amount of recovery possible for people with brain injuries is unfortunately very limited, especially considering how much help is needed.

Around one-third of people experience a brain injury at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, it’s often a misunderstood condition, leading people to avoid those affected. We’re working to change that by raising awareness and helping people feel comfortable and hopeful about recovery.

Working with my mom is a lot of fun! We’re really close, and even when we disagree, we make up quickly – arguments never last more than a few minutes. We’ll be arguing one minute, and the next we’re chatting about what to wear or watch on TV. It’s just really lighthearted and funny.
