‘Tis the season to be sexy! Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP has Christmas all wrapped up with a $1,300 sex toy advent calendar – featuring bondage rope, gold plated handcuffs and a five speed vibrator

Gwyneth Paltrow is offering a unique Christmas advent calendar this year – a £1,000 collection of sex toys. However, it’s a shorter experience than usual, with only nine gifts behind its doors, so buyers will need to pace themselves.

The lifestyle blog of the Academy Award-winning actress launched a unique advent calendar in October, perfect for the holidays. It gained attention for its playful and suggestive gifts, and was also highlighted in her ‘Pleasure Seeker’s Gift Guide’.

Honestly, even with the incredibly high cost, there are a few limitations to what you actually get. It’s a bit disappointing to find out some things aren’t included, even with everything else!

Goop’s advent calendar promises a different surprise behind each of its nine drawers, designed to inspire fun and new experiences.

The set includes provocative items like a black leather paddle, gold-plated handcuffs with a simple clasp, and 20 feet of black bondage rope adorned with gold accents and tassels.

The calendar also includes a collection of intimate items: a leather door tag, soft restraint tape, a lavender-scented massage candle with a silk blindfold, leather pasties, and red ties with padded leather cuffs.

The advent calendar finishes strong with a luxurious, gold-colored bullet vibrator. It features ten different settings: five levels of consistent vibration and five unique patterns.

The pricey advent calendar is from upmarket lingerie maker Kiki de Montparnasse.

Goop describes the brand as a luxurious lingerie line that’s both fun and alluring, designed to celebrate and flatter the female body with its indulgent pieces.

Founded in 2005, the brand takes its name from a bold and confident Parisian model and actress who was famous during the vibrant 1920s. The brand’s luxurious designs aim to capture her spirit of unapologetic self-assurance.

These pieces beautifully combine delicate fabrics like tulle and lace with soft silk, creating a luxurious feel that’s still perfect for daily wear.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop holiday gift guide is back with its typically extravagant offerings. This year’s highlights include a pricey £306 vibrator, luxurious massage oils, and even ‘mushroom chocolates’ designed to enhance intimacy and pleasure with the help of botanical ingredients and adaptogens.

The collection also features items like Coco de Mer’s ‘Pure Delight Orgasm Balm,’ marketed to enhance sensation and pleasure, and a vibrator that warms up to provide a more intense experience.

Goop sells nine different vibrators, like the Heartthrob, which offers a variety of sensations, and the vFit Gold, a more advanced model that uses red light, vibration, and heat to potentially strengthen pelvic floor muscles and improve sexual health.

Let’s talk about intimacy! I’m seeing some really innovative products hitting the market for couples. Dame’s vibrating ring is designed for prolonged pleasure, and their Liberty 2 is getting a lot of buzz for how realistically it can recreate the sensation of manual intimacy. It’s all about exploring what feels good and adding a little something extra to your connection.

Goop’s gift guide for men doesn’t hold back on luxury, featuring items like a Porsche ice driving experience in the Bavarian Alps, a Louis Vuitton foosball table, and a high-tech Ernest Hemingway-inspired typewriter.

For wellness enthusiasts, there’s also Sunlighten’s luxury infrared sauna (price upon request).

Some of the most unusual and provocative items include a soft sex pillow, lubricating oil for intimacy, a device designed for pelvic floor exercises, and a luxury teapot from Ginori’s Oriente Italiano line costing £530.

The company has previously sold unusual items like a sex chair, a book featuring watches, a simple bowl, and a razor with a gold handle.

Last year, Gwyneth Paltrow and her company, Goop, featured some surprisingly expensive gifts in their recommendations, including a £300 block of Parmesan cheese, an £11,000 handcrafted backgammon set, and a gold-plated vibrator costing over £11,000.

Three years ago, the actress faced criticism for selling a £57 candle with the playful name ‘This Smells Like My Vagina’ on her Goop website.

This candle began as a playful idea between perfumer Douglas Little and a friend. While developing a fragrance, she jokingly described the scent as smelling like a vagina. Surprisingly, that offhand comment led to the creation of a truly unique, appealing, and captivating fragrance.

It ended up working wonderfully as a candle—we tested it at a Goop Health event, and it sold out almost immediately.

This fragrance combines floral geranium and rose with bright citrus and warm cedar, creating a captivating scent that evokes feelings of fantasy, seduction, and cozy sophistication.
