Love Island copycat rivalry continues! Maura Higgins and Olivia Attwood both show off some skin and narrowly avoid each other at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in New York

The ongoing competition between Maura Higgins and Olivia Attwood, often compared to the show Love Island, was on display again when they both attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in New York City on Tuesday.

The two reportedly had a falling out again after a public relations issue and because they were pursuing similar work. They almost ran into each other while walking the red carpet, but managed to avoid a direct encounter.

Oh my gosh, did you SEE Maura and Olivia at the event?! They both looked absolutely incredible! They were both rocking these stunning black dresses – so sheer and glamorous, it was everything! Seriously, they totally understood the assignment. I’m obsessed with their style choices!

TV personality Maura looked stunning in a long-sleeved dress with a low-cut neckline and a satin skirt.

She finished her look with heels and styled her hair in a sleek bun, leaving some strands framing her face.

Meanwhile, Olivia wore a full mesh dress with black underwear and long leather gloves.

Her hair was styled in soft, flowing curls, and she finished the look with a pair of timeless stiletto heels.

Maura and Olivia are at odds again, and it seems Maura has copied Olivia’s latest professional step, according to the Daily Mail.

Trouble between the couple began last year while Maura was on the reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity.’ During her time on the show, she revealed she once cleaned a toilet with an ex-boyfriend’s toothbrush as an act of revenge, a story she’d previously connected to her split from Curtis Pritchard.

Last November, sources reported that Maura seemed to be intentionally modeling her behavior after Olivia, hoping to increase her popularity. This strategy mirrored what Olivia did after joining Love Island in 2017, following her breakup with Bradley Dack due to his infidelity.

Things became even more strained between them when they both started working with the same public relations firm, Dundas Communications.

Things became uncomfortable when they all started applying for the same positions, so Olivia, having joined the agency earlier, decided to leave.

Just ten months after Olivia started at the public relations firm Align – a company that helps people advance their careers in the US – Maura has also joined them.

According to sources, things are really strained between the former Love Island contestants. There’s a lot of confusion because their current issues seem to be mirroring a similar public disagreement from less than a year ago.

According to a source, many recent events have led people to think Maura is trying to follow a similar career path as Olivia.

Similarities between her experiences on Love Island and I’m A Celebrity, including working with the same talent agencies, began to cause tension.

Ultimately, Olivia decided to leave the PR firm Dundas. She’d joined them before Maura did, but wanted the freedom to develop her own brand independently, without any conflicts of interest.

People are starting to feel annoyed that Maura has also signed with PR Align, just like Olivia did months ago. It seems like she’s following in Olivia’s footsteps.

Things are really tense right now. It’s surprising because Maura’s team has, again, hired the same PR firm that Olivia works for, and there are so many others to choose from.

Both of these TV personalities have similar backgrounds: they both began their careers as Monster Energy Girls before appearing on Love Island and then I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Olivia was actually the first person to appear on both shows, but unfortunately, she had to leave the jungle show due to a medical issue.

Sources say Maura is joining Align because of her increasing work in the US, especially with her upcoming role on the American version of The Traitors.
