Good Smile Company has released its new mobile and PC game, Hell’s Paradise Battle, in Japan. The survival RPG, first shown at Jump Festa 2025, is based on the popular Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku series and was created with supervision from the animation studio MAPPA.

This survival RPG, originally known as Hell’s Paradise: Paradise Battle, is the first official game based on Yuji Kaku’s popular Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku series. It doesn’t just retell the original story – it also features a brand-new one, fully voiced with many lines recorded specifically for the game.

As a longtime fan of the series, I’m really excited to team up with others and fight for survival, both during the day and night.

Players can form their dream team with fan-favorite characters and engage in intense battles

Man, I’ve been waiting to take down those immortal baddies, and now I finally can! I get to build my own team with awesome characters like Gabimaru, one of the Condemned Sentries, and powerful Executioners like Sakiri. The battles are seriously epic with amazing animations, and the more you fight with your team, the more you learn about them – they even unlock new voice lines that show you a whole new side of their personalities!

Knowing that Akira Kindaichi, who directed the anime’s story, is also overseeing the game gives me a lot of confidence in how it will play. With each character having their own unique story, combined with the collaboration between MAPPA and a diverse cast, special abilities, and other features, the game looks very promising.
