Lindsay Shookus, who previously dated Ben Affleck, was spotted at the premiere of a new documentary starring Jennifer Lopez’s ex-partner, Alex Rodriguez, showing her support for him.
The 45-year-old former Saturday Night Live producer, who previously had an on-again, off-again relationship with Ben Affleck from 2017 to 2019, looked stunning at the premiere of ‘Alex vs. A-Rod’ at the DGA Theater in New York City.
She turned heads at the event in a sophisticated black gown with a sheer skirt. Meanwhile, Rodriguez, age 50, looked sharp in a classic black suit.
The unexpected meeting turned heads, considering Rodriguez was once engaged to Jennifer Lopez, who is now married to Affleck.
Affleck and Lopez’s divorce was finalized earlier in January, after two years of marriage.
Back in 2021, when rumors of a romance began, the former New York Yankee told People that he and Shookus had been friends for 15 years.
‘There is nothing there at all,’ his rep stated at the time.
Shookus wore her blonde tresses parted on the side and cascading in loose waves.
She accessorized with silver jewelry.
Tom Brady, 48, was also in attendance at the premiere.
The retired Patriots quarterback looked polished and stylish in a grey suit and black turtleneck.
Meanwhile Michael Strahan, 53, looked handsome in a dark grey suit.
According to HBO, the upcoming series ‘Alex vs. A-Rod’ features Alex Rodriguez discussing his life, from being a promising young baseball player to becoming a controversial figure in the sports world.
The film will also explore Rodriguez’s suspension after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs, and will include personal interviews with him.
The three-part documentary series is set to debut on November 6.
New episodes will debut subsequent Thursdays.
In 2021, he was seen with Shookus at a party in the Hamptons, not long after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got back together following the end of her engagement with Alex Rodriguez.
Shookus and Affleck first separated in August 2018. They tried getting back together in March 2019, but split up again the following month.
