A new series, The Split Up, set in Manchester and connected to the show The Split, is adding well-known actors. The latest big name joining the cast has everyone wondering: who is it?
Lenny Henry and Jane Horrocks will appear as guest stars in the new legal drama, it was announced last month. Joining them will be Jameela Jamil, known for her role in The Good Place, though her specific part hasn’t been revealed.

They’re working with a new team of British Asian divorce lawyers based in Manchester. They described the project as very exciting, praising showrunner Ursula Rani Sarma. The show is unique in its portrayal of British Asian characters and stories.

It feels really good to be part of something that’s actually showing British Asian characters being real – dealing with complicated relationships, making mistakes, and just being messy, you know? There are some seriously intense and dramatic moments, and I’m really proud of that.
