Lydia Bright shared that her baby niece, Luna, spent a week in the hospital after getting bronchiolitis.
The 35-year-old former TOWIE star shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram on Thursday of her daughter Loretta, age five, with her newborn niece. She announced that her niece is finally home and doing well after a week-long hospital stay.
My daughter, Luna, was very sick last week and had to stay in the hospital with bronchiolitis. Thankfully, she’s now home and doing much better.
Lydia shared that she’s been missing her loved one for a long time, saying it’s been the longest she’s gone without seeing them since their last hug on Christmas Day.
Lydia’s niece is the daughter of Ellie Pike, who Lydia has known since childhood. Ellie was fostered by Lydia’s parents, Debbie and Dave, when she was six years old.
Bronchiolitis is a common chest infection in babies, typically those younger than one year old, according to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
This illness causes symptoms like a stuffy or runny nose, a cough, and a slight fever, much like a common cold.
Last year, Lydia shared the happy news that her sister, Ellie, had a baby girl, and posted some adorable photos of herself with the new arrival.

Lydia and Ben were spotted sharing a passionate kiss at the popular celebrity restaurant Sheesh in Chigwell. Interestingly, her ex-boyfriend, who she’s still friends with, was performing at the same venue with his band, The Arg Band.
However, in January last year, Lydia confirmed the relationship was over on social media.
