This family trip happened after Cindy shared that her daughter, Kaia, used to playfully borrow clothes from her wardrobe. They discussed this while working together on a new fashion project.
The pair are back for another season of ZaraStreaming, where they’ve chosen their ideal outfits.
While showcasing their stylish outfits, they discussed how they inspire each other’s fashion choices, but also acknowledged they each have their own unique way of dressing.
While trying on clothes at Zara, Kaia admitted she’s been heavily influenced by her mother, whether she realizes it or not, but also emphasized that they have many differences.
‘But we have a lot of the same classic pieces but how we put things together differs.’
Cindy added that she was raised in Illinois by a mother who wasn’t interested in fashion, and later, Kaia grew up borrowing clothes from her closet along with Cindy’s friends!
Kaia explained that she now mostly takes things from this person, adding, ‘I don’t believe she has anything I’d want!’
Oh my gosh, when Kaia revealed this outfit – a super sleek black bodysuit with these amazing, flowy trousers – she said something that literally gave me chills! She compared walking the runway for us, her fans, to playing guitar for Jimi Hendrix! Can you even imagine? It’s like, she gets it! She understands how incredible it is to perform for people who truly appreciate her. I’m completely floored. It’s the highest compliment ever, honestly!
