
Welcome back to my monthly look at mobile gaming news! October 2025 brought some exciting developments, and I’ve gathered all the important highlights for you right here.

Week 1: October 01 to October 07
Executive Summary
Early October 2025 saw several new games become available, with a variety of releases and announcements. Soccer Journey: Champion Squad, MiniRacer Mayhem, Dino War: Survival, and Endless Worlds were all released worldwide, and INMOST announced it would be out on October 28th.
You can now pre-register for Besiege and Kamen Rider DEFENSE WARRIORS. NARUTO KAGE is starting to be released in some countries, while Monster Walk: Step Adventure is having a limited release. Also, Project Abyss: Next Ragnarok has been officially changed to Ragnarok Abyss.
This week saw some exciting news in gaming! Talking Tom Cat is getting a visual upgrade with a remastered version, and Supercent launched its RE:BOUND 2025 program. The week concluded with Hello World being featured at PAX Australia and a collaboration between Magic Jigsaw Puzzles and Cut the Rope.

Week 2: October 08 to October 14
Executive Summary
It was another busy week for new releases! We launched several games worldwide, including “Sorry! World,” “My Om Nom,” “Disney Magic Match 3D,” “Ricochet Squad,” and “HIROZZ.” Additionally, “Last Day GO” began early access, and “Vampirio: Defend & Survive” had a limited launch in certain areas.
You can now pre-register for CrossFire: Legends, alongside other upcoming games like BLEACH: Soul Resonance and Secrets of Paradise, all launching globally this November. WWE 2K25 Mobile is also being tested on Netflix Games, and Football Manager 26 Touch and several MySims games from EA are confirmed to be coming to Apple Arcade in November as well.
Several exciting announcements were made recently, including the new games DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY, Dead Account: Two Blue Flames, and Tenkemo. Control Ultimate Edition is also coming to Apple devices in early 2026. In other news, Reddit launched games within its app, and NetEase took action against leaks for the game Destiny: Rising by issuing DMCA takedown notices.

Week 3: October 15 to October 21
Executive Summary
In late October 2025, several new mobile games were released or tested. Hunters Origin launched globally, and AWAKEN: AstralBlade became available on Apple devices. Soul Land: Time Reversed, Sin Seed, and OverField began limited releases, while Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control was scheduled to come out soon.
You can now pre-register for MapleStory: Idle RPG. Plus, several exciting games are on the way: Sonic Rumble and Sword of Justice will launch in November, and Planet of Lana will be available on mobile devices this December.
Several mobile games saw updates recently: Closed beta testing began for Lost Ark Mobile, and Project Vampire started tests in the Philippines. Meanwhile, The Sims Mobile will officially shut down in January 2026. On the business side, Football Manager 26 has partnered with FIFA, but SEGA Football Club Champions has been pushed back to early 2026.
New game releases and updates kept players busy this week. Both Chinami Holic and Senran Kagura Project N are slated for release in 2026, and My Talking Tom Friends 2 launched a spooky Halloween update. The week concluded with the GamingonPhone Awards 2025 held in Bangkok, the opening of the player transfer window for BGMI Esports, and the start of a fun collaboration between Subway Surfers and Among Us.

Week 4: October 22 to October 28
Executive Summary
In late October 2025, several games became available worldwide, including Awakenloop, Dawn Watch: Survival, and Dicefolk. Ragnarok Twilight launched specifically in Southeast Asia, and Angry Birds Match World had a limited release in Finland.
You can now pre-register for the games Legend of YMIR, Hero Seekers, and Duck Detective: Ghost Glamping. Petit Planet and Heartopia will soon be holding closed beta tests. CABAL RED is launching on November 25th, and Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen will be available on iOS in December. Boat Game is also accepting sign-ups for its second Alpha test.
Beyond new game releases, Netflix announced a TV series based on Catan. MONOPOLY GO! started limited testing in France, and Honor of Kings: World is now slated to launch in Spring 2026. Rememento: White Shadow temporarily shut down before it plans to return, Strinova launched in China, and a Warrior Cats mobile game is in development for 2027.

Week 5: October 29 to October 31
Executive Summary
We’ve had a busy few days with some exciting game news! Billionaire Royale Club and Hill Climb Racing 3 are now available in soft launch, and Waltz of the Wizard has officially launched on iOS.
OverField will launch worldwide on November 6th. Aniimo is now accepting US-based players for a test version of its iOS game. Monument Valley 3 is coming back to mobile devices this December. Meanwhile, Supercell has announced that Squad Busters will be shutting down, with a final update planned for December.
Recently, Pokémon Masters EX announced it will be partially shutting down in some Southeast Asian countries. The release of UnGodly has been delayed until the first quarter of 2026. Good news for fans of Call of Duty: a movie is in the works and now has a confirmed writer and director. And in the UK, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super premiered on BBC CBeebies.
