Matt Lauer’s daughter Romy, 22, dresses up as a goth Playboy bunny for Halloween… a year after ‘crashing her car’

Matt Lauer’s daughter Romy dressed up as a goth Playboy bunny for Halloween.

A 22-year-old woman with brown hair shared two photos on Instagram. In the pictures, taken at home, she’s wearing a revealing black leotard, fishnet stockings, and bunny ears.

Romy – whose mother is a model – is currently a student at the University of Miami.

She is reportedly studying to get a degree in general finance and is set to graduate in May 2026.

The rising star is currently dating Antonio Prat, a Spanish tennis player and student at the University of Miami.

Lauer is an equestrian too.

In 2019, she shared photos of herself showjumping with her horse, Bonaparte. She wrote that the Hampton Classic was fantastic, noting Bonaparte won six out of nine classes and Haminka performed very well in her first hunter competition.

Lauer is also very active on TikTok, where she has over 30,000 followers.

Romy is the oldest child of Matt Lauer, who used to host the Today show, and his former wife, model Annette Roque. They are also parents to Jack, age 23, and Thijs, 17.

According to a source who spoke to People magazine in 2022, the former host maintains a close bond with his children, seeing them frequently and prioritizing their well-being.

According to Hello! magazine, Matt and Annette Lauer separated after Matt was fired from NBC due to accusations of sexual assault at work. Their divorce became final in 2019.

In September 2024 Romy faced some issues.

People magazine reports that Romy was involved in a car accident in the Hamptons. Authorities found a piece of her license plate at the crash site, linking her to the incident.

The July 5 accident was minor and occurred ‘close to her home’ in New York, a source told People.

Romy was given a traffic ticket for leaving the scene, the source said.

The crash occurred when Romy drove her car, a Jeep Wrangler, into a fence, according to Page Six.

Police investigated the scene of the crash following a 911 call at approximately 4 a.m.

An unnamed person heard a crash and called the cops.

At the scene, officers discovered that a fence and sign had been knocked down.
