MAFS oddball Nasser Sultan is all smiles as he cosies up with FHM models at glitzy Halloween party following split from Karla Grant

Nasser Sultan isn‘t letting his recent break-up with Karla Grant get him down.

Recently single after a public breakup, the former Married At First Sight contestant was seen getting close to six models at the FHM Woman Of The Year party on Thursday.

He beamed for the cameras on the red carpet at Sydney’s The Dawson, surrounded by two women in striking red outfits.

Nasser got into the Halloween mood by wearing a fun floral shirt with a cross necklace and comfortable red sneakers.

The man, 58 years old, smiled and crossed his arms while posing for a photo with the FHM models, who were much taller than him thanks to their high heels.

This follows reports of a brief relationship between Nasser and Karla, an award-winning journalist and well-known presenter for SBS.

They ended their whirlwind romance in September, after around eight months together.

Nasser confirmed the split to the Daily Mail, after a source tipped us off.

‘Yes we’ve [broken up] unfortunately, but remain friends,’ he said.

While we enjoyed our time together, it’s become clear that we’re heading in different directions. She’s a wonderful person, but we’re not a good match long-term.

The last time Karla and Nasser were seen together publicly was at a Classic Penguins exhibit in Sydney on September 3rd.

Previously, Nasser and the other person were frequently seen together at public events, including the Kennedy Awards for journalism on August 15th, where they shared a table for SBS.

News of the couple’s relationship surfaced in February when the Daily Mail first reported that industry professionals were surprised by the pairing.

‘We’ve known each other for four years, to be honest,’ Nasser said at the time.

We ran into each other again at a Maxim party and immediately connected – we fell in love. It was instant, like love at first sight, but thankfully, we didn’t meet through a reality show like ‘Married At First Sight’!

She’s a kind, intelligent, and graceful woman with a strong education and a good reputation in her field. What’s more, she’s genuine and doesn’t feel the need to be on social media like Instagram.

Nasser has actively sought media attention since being on Married at First Sight in 2018. However, Karla is well-known for her work with SBS, where she presents, produces, and reports for Living Black, the national Indigenous current affairs program.

She is career-focused and rarely uses social media.

Nasser noticed a significant contrast between the two, describing them to us in February as ‘completely different from each other’.

He loves the excitement of the red carpet, though she’s generally more reserved. He appreciates her kindness and generosity, and how she allows him to be himself – even when he’s a bit wild!
