Family Matters star Darius McCrary has been seen in his mug shot.
The 49-year-old actor looked exhausted in the image shared by the Oakland County Jail on Thursday.
At the time McCrary was arrested, he was trying to get into Mexico from the U.S., authorities said.
A California court denied his request for bail during his first appearance in mid-October.
Reginald VelJohnson, best known for playing Officer Eddie Winslow on the TV show ‘Family Matters’ from 1989 to 1998, has been held in a jail near San Diego since being arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents on October 5th.
The judge decided the actor, originally from Walnut, California, still posed a risk of fleeing the country. He was arrested because Michigan had issued a warrant for his arrest on felony charges.
The actor, known for his role in ‘Monogamy,’ initially stated he would represent himself in court and didn’t want a lawyer. However, the judge decided to assign a public defender to assist him.

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for McCrary for further comment on the story.
Officials intend to bring McCrary back to Michigan to face an arrest warrant that was issued because he didn’t show up for a court hearing regarding unpaid child support.
Initially, there were different stories about why the actor from The Young and the Restless was even there.
According to ABC 10 News, prosecutors stated that McCrary’s representative said he was in Tijuana looking at properties to potentially buy.
According to his lawyer, McCrary was in the neighborhood working on a house-building project for charity.
According to the actor’s representative, McCrary isn’t likely to flee because he has no ties to the Tijuana region, according to People magazine.
According to the representative, McCrary ended up in the wrong country due to a misunderstanding about where to meet his colleague for the Esperanza housing program.
According to his representative, McCrary plans to fight the charges in Michigan and is scheduled for a court appearance on November 14th.
Okay, so I’ve been following Billy McCrary for ages, and it’s just… messy. Apparently, his divorce from Tammy Brawner was really rough, and it actually led to some legal problems for him. It’s all just so dramatic, and I’ve been digging into the details – it wasn’t a clean break, to say the least! I’m honestly obsessed with knowing everything about him, and this is just another layer to the story.

According to court documents obtained by People magazine, the couple divorced in 2019 after filing in 2017. As part of the divorce, McCrary was ordered to pay $1,366 each month for child support.
According to reports, the court granted actress and producer Brawner full custody of her three-year-old daughter, Zoe. Brawner is also known for her time playing with the Harlem Globetrotters.
After reviewing court documents, People magazine reported that McCrary was ordered to attend year-long programs for alcohol and drug abuse, as well as classes for people who commit domestic violence.
According to court documents, McCrary was initially allowed to visit his daughter for six hours every Sunday, with the first ten visits being supervised. After those visits, the court planned to review the situation and decide if the conditions needed to change.
