How to level up quickly in Stella Sora
1. Focus on Ascension Mode and Daily Missions for Fast EXP
For the fastest and most reliable way to gain experience, focus on playing Ascension Mode. It consistently provides a lot of EXP and also gives you important items to improve your core team of Trekkers.

Consider this your main source of consistent progress – a reliable activity you can repeat regularly. Combine completing the Monolith with daily missions, which reset each day and give you experience, resources, and in-game currency.
These two activities are key to leveling up in the early and mid-game. To make the most of your energy, focus on completing Monolith runs for experience and materials, do your daily missions for regular rewards, and then save energy for Tier-Up Trials when they become available.
2. Tier-Up early
Upgrading your units doesn’t just increase their maximum level; it also gives them new abilities, special items, and improved stats, which significantly strengthens your team. Ignoring these upgrades will make it much harder to advance in the game.

Here’s how the progression works: Stage 1 (levels 10-20) gives you 10 levels and improves your character’s core stats. Stage 2 (levels 20-30) adds another 10 levels and lets you learn new abilities. Finally, Stage 3 (levels 30-40) increases the level and skill caps and unlocks a special Awakened Appearance for your character.
You’ll be able to reach level 90, so it’s important to consistently collect Ascension materials from Trials and Monolith stages. Also, be sure to participate in events that increase your chances of getting rare items.
3. Manage your Vigor Wisely
Effective resource management is key to making quick progress in Stella Sora. Vigor, your energy source, limits how many battles you can fight before needing to rest. Because every bit of Vigor is valuable, use it carefully on activities that will benefit you the most in the long run.

The best way to improve your characters is by investing your Vigor in Tier-Up Trials, as they directly increase your characters’ strength. Always aim to complete trials with 3 stars, because this unlocks the Quick Battle feature. Quick Battle saves time and automatically collects resources from that stage for you.
4. Don’t Sleep on Affinity
In Stella Sora, your connection with characters called Trekkers – your Affinity – is key to becoming stronger. As you build relationships, each Trekker’s Affinity Level increases, boosting their stats, revealing unique storylines, and even rewarding you with things like cosmetics or in-game currency.

You can strengthen your relationships with Trekkers – called raising Affinity – by using them in battles, finishing their personal quests, completing special Affinity Tasks, and giving them gifts. Building these bonds isn’t just about story; it actually boosts your stats like HP and ATK, which can be a big help in tougher fights.
Affinity truly brings your crew to life, giving them unique personalities, backstories, and reasons for acting the way they do. This connection between the game’s story and how you play makes each playthrough more engaging. Don’t underestimate it – building relationships with your crew isn’t just about getting lost in the story; it actually makes them stronger and improves your strategic options.
5. Level-Up your main Trekker First
While it’s natural to want to improve all your characters, that’s a common mistake for beginners. Trying to upgrade everyone at once leaves you with a team that isn’t strong enough to succeed at tougher levels.

Prioritize leveling up the EXP books and Travel Journals for the Trekker who deals the most damage. A strong damage-dealing Trekker will complete battles quicker, helping your whole team advance faster. After your main damage dealer is well-equipped, then focus on improving your support Trekkers. This approach prevents you from getting stuck on difficult content because of uneven Trekker levels.
Final Thoughts
Success in Stella Sora comes down to making wise choices, working with what you have, and playing consistently. If you concentrate on developing your main Trekkers, learning the key game modes, and upgrading your units quickly, you’ll create a solid base to overcome any obstacle.
