Disney star Dove Cameron is engaged to the wild frontman of Måneskin Damiano David.

The actress, 29, and the musician, 26, have been dating for two years. They publicly confirmed their relationship in February 2024, and the musician recently performed shirtless in Sydney.

Dove Cameron was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand while walking with musician Joel Madden in Sydney, Australia, sparking engagement rumors.

TMZ reports that the couple recently got engaged, and they’ve published photos of the engagement ring.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Dove and Damiano for a statement, but they haven’t received a response yet.

Cameron recently shared personal photos and videos showing how their relationship developed, giving fans a glimpse into their early dates.

She shared a heartfelt post with her 47 million+ followers, writing about the past two years as ‘the best of my life.’ She explained that being with her loved one has made life so wonderful that she often cries tears of joy.

Dove Cameron first gained recognition playing dual roles in the Disney Channel series Liv and Maddie, which aired from 2013 to 2017. She then became the star of the Descendants film series, leading the franchise across three movies released between 2015 and 2021.

Damiano is the singer for the Italian rock band Måneskin, which gained international fame by winning the Eurovision Song Contest with their song “Zitti e Buoni.” The band is well-known for their energetic performances and often incorporates suggestive themes into their concerts.

Oh my gosh, Dove and Damiano have been together for almost two years now! It feels like forever, but it all started at the VMAs back in 2022 – I remember seeing pictures and instantly knowing they were meant to be! I’ve been following their relationship ever since, and it’s just so amazing to see how happy they are together.

Their relationship was confirmed when they made their red carpet debut at the 2024 pre-Grammy Gala.

Dove spoke publicly about their romance in a June 2024 interview with Cosmopolitan. 

After meeting Damiano and his band, she received an invitation to their album release a couple of months later. Unfortunately, the timing didn’t work with her schedule, but she was touched that they remembered her, as they had only met once.

 She added, ‘At one point, the band and I had been thinking about doing a collaboration. 

Oh my gosh, they actually had a recording already, can you believe it? So, naturally, I just had to go in and lay down a track right over it – it was a dream come true! And then, the biggest honor… they wanted me to open for them on tour! Sadly, things just didn’t line up and I couldn’t make it happen, which still kills me, but hey, at least I got to contribute to the music!

The actor, who used to star in Disney productions, shared that they had brief, infrequent encounters with someone before reconnecting at the 2023 VMAs, which gave them a chance to finally talk.

She described how it felt when her now-boyfriend first approached her, saying it was as if a long time had passed, maybe even ten years, even though it had only been a year. She felt a significant shift in time and perception.

The actress raved about her boyfriend, describing him as upfront and honest about his feelings from the start. She said he’s incredibly kind and respectful, like someone from a different era – a true gentleman, sweet and caring. She believes he’s the best person she’s ever known.

And she said they find common ground in their sensitivity.

It seemed intense and fast-moving from an outsider’s perspective, but both of us were still healing from past hurts and are naturally sensitive, so it felt different for us,” she explained.
