Skill Analysis

Freya has a total of four skills, one of which is a passive ability that’s always active. This guide will cover all of Freya’s abilities in Mobile Legends, explaining what they do and when to use them for maximum effectiveness.

Passive – Power Of Einherjar (Buff)

Freya earns a Sacred Orb each time she performs a Basic Attack, up to a maximum of 6 Orbs. Using one Sacred Orb makes her next Basic Attack significantly faster – increasing her Attack Speed by 100% (this can stack up to 6 times). These Orbs will slowly replenish when she’s not fighting.

Skill 1 – Leap of Faith (CC, Blink)

Freya quickly jumps to the targeted location and slams her shield into the ground. This gives her a large amount of shield protection and also damages nearby enemies, sending them flying for a brief moment.

Skill 2 – Valkyrie Slash (Mobility, Damage)

Freya quickly attacks, inflicting physical damage and slowing down enemies by 30% for half a second. This attack doesn’t have a standard cooldown, but each use costs 2 Sacred Orbs. Damage dealt to non-player creatures (creeps) is reduced to 50%.

Ultimate Skill – Valkyrie Descent (Morph, Shield)

Freya chooses a location and plunges downward as a Sacred Orb, inflicting Physical Damage and slowing enemies in her flight path and upon impact for 2 seconds. When she lands, Freya transforms into a Valkyrie for 12 seconds. In this state, her basic attacks deal additional damage that can’t critically hit, restore her health with each hit, and also damage nearby enemies.

Skill-up method for Freya

Prioritize unlocking her second skill before her first. This second skill is her main way to deal damage, so focus on maximizing it. Whenever you can, also upgrade her Ultimate ability.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Freya in Mobile Legends

Emblem Setup

To help Freya perform better in the Solo lane, players should equip the Custom Assassin Emblem, which boosts her ability to break through enemy defenses and increase her damage output. The best Talent choice will depend on each player’s individual style.

Since the recent update, the Custom Assassin Emblem lets players choose from three unique talents. For a Freya build, here’s a recommended setup:

  • In the First-tier Talent, we choose Rupture for its extra Penetration, especially when facing tanky opponents.
  • In the Second-tier Talent, you should pick Weapons master as it greatly boosts Freya’s overall attack output.
  • In the Third Tier Talent, you should pick War Cry. This talent increases Freya’s damage the more she attacks enemies, making her an overwhelming force on the battlefield.

Battle Spells

  • Flicker is a good choice for Freya as it allows her to easily reposition depending on the situation.
  • Inspire is also a good spell for Freya, as it greatly enhances her attack potential when combined with her ultimate.
  • Players who want to Jungle with Freya should choose the Retribution spell for extra advantage.

Best Builds for Freya in Mobile Legends

Freya’s updated skills focus on dealing quick, high damage, controlling enemies, and staying alive in fights. Because she relies heavily on regular attacks, the best items to build for her will increase her attack power, help her survive, and give her a higher chance to land critical hits. This guide will explain the best item builds for Freya in Mobile Legends.

  • It is advisable to build Tough boots for extra magic defense and CC reduction.
  • For the second item, you can get Blade of Despair, which greatly boosts Freya’s attack output.
  • For the third item, choose Great Dragon Spear. This is a good choice as the item not only grants extra Critical Chance, but it also increases Freya’s movement speed after she ults. Allowing her to engage and catch up with enemies while in the Valkyrie state.
  • For the fourth item, you can go for Endless Battle, as it enhances her basic attack damage.
  • You can opt for Sea Halberd or Malefic Roar depending on enemy composition. Since Seal Halberd helps against high-sustain enemies, while Malefic Roar grants extra Penetration for tanky enemies.
  • For your last item, build Brute Force Breastplate as it grants extra mobility, defense, and CC reduction. These perks will be really useful in the Late game.

Mobile Legends Freya Gameplay Tips

Freya’s powerful skills let her take the lead early in the game, and she becomes even more formidable with her ultimate. Because of this, it’s smart to prioritize earning gold and experience (farming) in the beginning. This guide will show you the best strategy for playing Freya in Mobile Legends throughout all stages of the game – early, mid, and late game.

Early Game

Freya works well as either an Exp laner or a Jungler, but she’s generally most effective in the Exp lane. She’s strong during the early game due to her high damage and quick ability cooldowns. To maximize her potential, she needs to focus on farming – consistently defeating minions or taking jungle buffs – to gain levels and powerful items that increase her damage.

You can also use the following combo to dominate enemies during the early game:

Skill 1 + Basic Attack + Skill 2 + Skill 2 + Basic Attacks

Freya should play aggressively and focus on both attacking enemies and quickly clearing out jungle monsters and lane minions. When she can, she should move between the Top and Mid lanes to help teammates and ensure no minions or monsters are left unattended.

Mid Game

As a Freya player, I’ve found she really comes online once she gets her Ultimate! After that, I’m always looking for good moments to jump in and either start a fight or respond to the enemy’s initiation. Her leap is great for controlling the battlefield. Once I land, popping my Ult lets me dive right into groups of enemies, dealing tons of damage with each attack, and the best part is, it also keeps me healthy thanks to the Ult’s passive!

Always keep at least two Sacred Orbs handy before a fight to move faster and attack more quickly. Since Freya is strong and durable, use her to help your team take important objectives like Lord and Turtle.

Late Game

In the late game, Freya focuses on capitalizing on opportunities to secure victory. By this point, enemy heroes are typically fully leveled and deal significant damage. Freya isn’t well-suited to start fights herself at this stage; that responsibility falls to the team’s tank.

Start by using your first ability to focus on important enemies, then follow up with powerful attacks from your ultimate ability to deal consistent, high damage. Later in the game, try this combination of abilities to easily defeat your opponents.

Skill 1 + Skill 2 + ULT+ Skill 2+ Basic Attack +Skill 2

When playing Freya, avoid prolonging the game, particularly if your team isn’t dealing much damage. It’s best to try and end the match quickly when you choose Freya.
