Whether you loved the latest Wicked: For Good trailer or not, the collaboration between stylist Law Roach and Ariana Grande is exciting news! They’re working together on Ariana’s looks for the movie’s upcoming press events, and I’m already impressed with what I’m seeing.
In addition to handling Zendaya’s wedding preparations, stylist Law Roach is now in charge of Ariana Grande’s wardrobe for the upcoming press tour of Wicked: For Good. He recently told People how happy he is to be working with his longtime friend and client again, and that he’s enjoying helping her choose outfits for the movie’s 2025 release. While he didn’t reveal too many details, Roach emphasized the positive and collaborative atmosphere surrounding the project, hinting at a lot of exciting work being done.
Creating a look involves a lot of work – endless fittings, moments of joy and frustration, and a whole lot of creative thinking and visualization.
I’m completely fascinated and would love to have been a witness to what happened! I was interested from the moment I saw the mood boards, but the combination of enthusiastic discussion and creative brainstorming really sealed the deal. I’ve been eagerly awaiting this new press tour, especially since I enjoyed last year’s incredibly heartfelt one with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Now, let’s talk about the outfits!
Like many fans, I loved the colorful and *Wickedinspired outfits worn by the actress playing Glinda (and Elphaba). Now that her longtime stylist – the one who helped Ariana Grande create her iconic ponytail look – is involved, I’m excited to see what fashion choices are coming. While the stylist didn’t reveal any tour outfit plans, he did share that working with the singer has been a great experience, praising her professionalism and personality.
What’s most important to understand about her is how thankful she is – not just for the opportunity to play this role, but also for the incredible designers creating her gowns and dresses. She’s genuinely excited and appreciative of their work.
I’m even more excited for the Wicked: For Good press tour after hearing this! It’s wonderful that Ariana Grande is still embodying Glinda and also taking the time to acknowledge all the hard work that goes into creating her look – and the looks of everyone involved. Honestly, creating costumes for a production like this, both for what you see on screen and everything behind the scenes, requires a huge amount of effort.
Okay, so I heard Tim Gunn from Project Runway is a fan of Jenna Ortega’s acting choices showing through her outfits, and it got me thinking… I really hope that translates into a more complex and interesting take on the world of Oz. And honestly, after reading about how much Ariana Grande has been involved and how open she seems, I think she’d be totally on board with pushing the visual boundaries. It just makes me picture them huddled over inspiration boards, debating every little detail – you know, the good kind of creative chaos! And seriously, I’m dying to see what Law Roach comes up with for Ariana’s first big look – it’s going to be epic!

Ariana Grande described filming ‘Wicked: For Good’ as a huge challenge, pushing her limits mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I’m eagerly awaiting the start of the Wicked: For Good publicity events, and I imagine Ariana Grande and her stylist, Law Roach, are having a blast collaborating on the visual style and making decisions about outfits and overall look.
