Best Characters in Duet Night Abyss

1. Psyche

Psyche is the strongest character in Duet Night Abyss, combining grace with incredible power. She’s a top-tier Anemo damage dealer, excelling at quickly defeating single enemies with remarkable accuracy.

She can transform to fly, effortlessly avoiding attacks and delivering strong blows from the air. Instead of relying on typical health points for damage, Psyche uniquely uses a combination of both her sanity and health to power her powerful skills.

Psyche is surprisingly tough in long fights. As long as her health remains above 15%, she can convert health into shields. She also doesn’t just focus on damage – she creates Phantasms that slow down opponents, break up their attacks, and help her create powerful combos.

Playing Psyche effectively means focusing on precise timing and good positioning, as each critical hit and Powder Stigma explosion significantly increases her damage output. She’s a highly mobile, powerful, and dangerous character – skillful play is rewarded, while errors are heavily punished. Combining her with Anemo support characters like Daphne further enhances her already impressive capabilities, making her the top damage dealer for both boss battles and challenging late-game content.

2. Rebecca

I’m seriously impressed with Rebecca! She’s become one of my favorite characters because she just attacks with everything she has. As a Hydro DPS, she’s incredibly flexible, especially when tackling the Duet Night Abyss. What really sets her apart is how she uses summons – she basically creates an army that’s as strong as she is! They constantly attack enemies, and she’s amazing at both hitting multiple enemies at once and dealing damage over time. It’s a really cool playstyle.

Rebecca’s special skill, Poison of Love, deals damage over time that spreads to other enemies when someone dies. This can create a chain reaction, quickly eliminating entire groups of foes. This makes her particularly good at efficiently defeating enemies and making steady progress in the game, making her a strong choice for players who enjoy a bit of strategy with their damage output.

Rebecca becomes much stronger when teamed up with support characters like Truffle & Filbert or Tabethe, as they boost her creature damage and how often she can attack. Playing her well requires focus – you need to manage her summoned creatures effectively and keep her safe. While she depends on maintaining her Sanity and can be easily targeted if out of position, Rebecca is a great choice for players because she’s free to start with, can hit multiple enemies at once, and becomes incredibly powerful as the game goes on.

3. Daphne

She’s much more than just a healer. She seamlessly blends healing with abilities that control enemies and boost her allies, keeping the whole team strong and protected. Her skills, especially Repulsion Synthesis and Emerald Effusion, release powerful waves of Anemo energy that not only heal teammates but also weaken enemies by damaging them over time and reducing their attack power with her unique formula.

Daphne excels in teams that need consistent performance and resilience, particularly when combined with powerful damage dealers like Psyche. Upgrading her Intron abilities enhances her support skills, providing better critical hit rate bonuses, more effective healing, and longer-lasting beneficial effects.

Daphne isn’t very strong or durable on her own, but she provides incredible support to her team. She’s easy to equip and very effective early in the game because her power increases directly with her attack stats. Daphne keeps your team alive, boosts their abilities, and prepares them for any challenge, whether it’s a long boss fight or a battle against many enemies.

4. Yale and Oliver

Yale and Oliver are powerful characters who specialize in fire-based attacks. As a main damage dealer, they focus on carefully placing mines to control the battlefield. These mines explode, causing significant area-of-effect damage and creating various effects depending on the mine type.

Her most dangerous skill is controlling when things happen. Yale and Oliver can use her ability to slow down opponents and pause the countdown on mines. This lets them place several mines together, creating massive, chain-reaction explosions when they finally detonate.

It takes a little time to learn how to play Yale and Oliver effectively, but they’re incredibly powerful once you do. They excel at dealing damage to multiple enemies at once, and their abilities to control groups of opponents make them especially useful in chaotic battles. The way they summon allies also adds a strategic element to gameplay. With a skilled player, Yale and Oliver can control the battlefield with accuracy and impressive displays of power.

Final Thoughts

Creating a winning team in Duet Night Abyss isn’t just about choosing the most powerful characters—it’s about how well they work together. Each character has unique strengths, like Psyche’s incredible damage from the air, Rebecca’s constant attacks with summons, or Daphne’s helpful buffs that keep the team alive. The key to success is understanding how these abilities combine to create a powerful synergy.
