Sean Bean leaves wife Ashley Moore at home as he steps out with co-star Connie Nielsen for the London screening of Robin Hood – amid his spouse’s hidden health battle

Actor Sean Bean attended a London screening of Robin Hood with his co-star, Connie Nielsen, while his wife, Ashley Moore, stayed home. This occurred while Moore was privately dealing with a health issue.

She actually wrote about finally getting the all-clear way back in 2020, and I’m just…so incredibly happy and relieved for her and him! It just makes me love him even more, knowing she’s such a fighter!

Earlier this month, she and Sean, age 66, attended the Los Angeles launch event for Robin Hood, marking a rare public appearance for them.

However, on Tuesday, the actor attended the screening in London with his fellow cast members, marking his first public appearance without his partner.

Rowan Atkinson, known as Mr. Bean, looked sharp in a grey suit and black shirt at the UK premiere of his latest film.

I’m really excited to see Sean Bean take on another big role! He’s had such amazing success with shows like Game of Thrones, Red Riding, and Sharpe, and now he’s playing the Sheriff of Nottingham. It’s going to be fantastic to watch him in this iconic role.

Sixty-year-old Connie caught everyone’s eye with a fitted, long-sleeved leather mini dress that showed off her figure.

She paired the outfit with sheer black tights and made her legs look longer with black heels.

Oh my gosh, I was so excited to see Jack Patten there – he’s absolutely perfect as Robin! And Lauren McQueen? Seriously, she’s going to be the BEST Marian ever. It was amazing seeing them with all the other cast members, everyone who’s going to make this show incredible!

Also at the screening were Emma Gojkovic, David Templer, Angus Castle Doughty, and Chris Jenks. 

Sean had nearly lost hope of finding lasting love after four divorces, but then he met Ashley, who became his fifth wife.

However, many don’t know that the actor’s partner is a cancer survivor and publicly shared their recovery in 2020.

After privately battling an illness, Sean’s wife of eight years recently shared black and white photos of herself smiling during treatment in the hospital.

She shared that many people aren’t aware of everything she’s been through, but she’s incredibly proud of her strength and the support she receives from other strong women.

Ashley recently shared that she is now cancer-free. In a comment, she wrote about how grateful she is for life and how much more she appreciates everything now.

Ashley has not revealed when she was diagnosed with cancer or what type of cancer she battled.

Sean and Ashley, married in 2018, were recently seen together at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie Robin Hood.

The actor, looking sharp in a brown suit, posed for photos with Moore on the red carpet after arriving at the Hollywood event.

Sean, known for creating popular TV series like Game of Thrones, Red Riding, and Sharpe, is now playing the Sheriff of Nottingham in a new project.

In February 2018, the actor married Moore at Axnoller Farm in Dorset, surrounded by 40 of their closest friends and family.

A representative shared with the Daily Mail that the gathering was mainly for close family and friends. Actress Anna Friel, who currently stars alongside Sean in the show Broken, was also in attendance.

Anna’s daughter, Gracie, was a bridesmaid and performed a special song for the couple – Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ – accompanying herself on guitar as Ashley walked down the aisle. The wedding was a small affair, with likely no more than 40 guests.

He seems incredibly happy with Ashley – I’ve never seen him so in love and dedicated to someone. They’re a really lovely couple.

The Game of Thrones actor told the Daily Mail he was worried about getting married again, having gone through four divorces.

But his attitude soon changed after meeting Moore, a former nanny who is 26 years his junior.

‘I wasn’t planning on getting married again, but then I wasn’t planning on meeting someone as amazing as Ashley,’ he said.

‘I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.’
