Samantha Armytage looks stylish as she arrives in Sydney after a whirlwind trip to Perth to promote The Golden Bachelor

Samantha Armytage, the host of The Golden Bachelor, looked fashionable as she arrived back in Sydney on Tuesday.

After traveling from Perth to promote Channel Nine’s new dating program, the 49-year-old woman arrived at Sydney Airport, pulling her suitcase behind her.

Samantha walked through the airport terminal wearing a blue and white striped dress, and she attempted to discreetly cover the high slit in the skirt.

The TV presenter wore her blonde hair tied back and finished her outfit with a pair of stylish sandals.

Wearing sunglasses and carrying a big white bag, she walked towards the car that was waiting for her.

Samantha accessorised with a black watch, gold earrings and simple gold bracelets.

This follows a recent interview where Samantha seemed to subtly criticize her former husband, Richard Lavender, who works in the equestrian business.

I was listening to Jessica Rowe’s podcast, and the Channel Nine presenter opened up about her dating life. She said she’s definitely going to be more selective about who she dates in the future, and honestly, good for her! It’s great she’s prioritizing herself.

I’m really impressed with how self-aware she is about her dating life. She actually said she’s going to be much better at picking the right partners going forward, and it felt so honest and relatable to hear her say that!

‘Discernment is my new middle name… I’m getting better as I get older at being discerning.’

Sam shared that dating is challenging when you’re famous, but she’s become more careful about choosing who she dates and lets get close to her.

Let me tell you, when you’re in the public eye, it’s not always easy to find genuine connections. You definitely attract all sorts of people, and not everyone has the best intentions. It’s something I’ve learned firsthand – being well-known doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be surrounded by the right kind of people.

‘So you just have to be discerning, and I am now, and that’s good.’

Just before their four-year wedding anniversary, the couple announced they were separating.

The couple got married on New Year’s Eve in 2020 at Richard’s beautiful 40-hectare property in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Sam confirmed to the media that she and Richard have separated. While breakups are always difficult, she explained that this one is easier to handle because they parted ways amicably and both want the best for each other.

‘I appreciate you respecting our privacy. I won’t be making any further comment.’

Okay, so this is crazy. I was just checking, and Samantha’s lost the follow from Sascha and Grace, his daughters! Can you believe it? It’s like a total signal, you know? But get this – he still follows her! It’s so weird and makes me think something’s definitely going on. I’m glued to this, honestly. It’s all so dramatic!

She has reportedly left the home she shared with Richard in the Southern Highlands and is now living in an apartment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Sam Armytage and Richard Lavender began dating in April 2019 and got engaged in June 2020. They were married six months after that at his country home in New South Wales.
