Teddi Mellencamp’s soon-to-be ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave, has introduced his new partner while they are still going through their divorce.
This news arrives almost a year after the couple announced their separation in November 2024, and while Mellencamp continues to fight cancer, a battle that started with a melanoma diagnosis three years ago.
On Monday, Arroyave posted a photo on his Instagram story. The picture showed him smiling alongside a woman wearing a black dress with a low-cut neckline.
He looked sharp in a classic black suit, paired with a black shirt and polished black dress shoes.
Arroyave put his arm around the woman’s waist as they posed for a photo with the ocean view behind them.
I noticed something interesting on their Snapchat story! They posted a message at the end saying ‘About last night @hayet17h’ and also tagged someone named Elsa. It definitely makes you wonder what happened!

Earlier this month, on his podcast The Ed’s, Arroyave shared that he is currently dating someone and considers the relationship to be serious.
However, he did not offer further details on the budding romance during the podcast episode.
Oh my gosh, I was devastated when I heard the news last November! After thirteen years, John Mellencamp and his wife, Naomi Judd’s ex-husband, Eduardo Arroyave, were getting divorced. It just seemed so sudden, and I’ve been following their relationship for ages! I couldn’t believe it.
I’ve been following their story for a while, and it’s always sad to hear about family changes. They share three kids together – Slate, who’s 13, Cruz, 11, and little Dove, who’s only five. Plus, he’s also a dad to Bella, his 15-year-old daughter from before they met. It’s a lot for everyone, and I really hope the kids are doing okay through all of this.
She announced their separation on social media, sharing that she had made the difficult decision to file for divorce after careful consideration.
My children’s privacy and well-being are my top priority as we navigate this new phase of our lives.
The celebrity explained they didn’t want to speak out publicly, but decided to do so to protect their family from gossip and inaccurate reports. They felt being open and honest was the best way to handle the situation.
Even though they’ve separated, John Mellencamp and his wife, Nancy Arroyave, remain friendly. They recently came together in August to celebrate their son Cruz’s 11th birthday at Six Flags.

Shortly after Mellencamp revealed she discovered her husband was having an affair with a friend they both knew, she began appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2017.
In a July interview on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, she talked about her health and revealed her divorce had been put on hold while she fights cancer. She also shared that she felt her diagnosis was a consequence of her own infidelity, following her husband’s actions.
Mellencamp also had a brief relationship with Ricci Rea – and announced the romance back in June.
But the following month, the celebrity announced they had broken up, explaining in an interview on the Diamonds In The Rough podcast that she needed to prioritize her well-being. She said, ‘When I have free time, I just want to relax and recharge.’
Earlier this month, Mellencamp gave an incredible update on her battle with stage four melanoma.
The actress initially received a melanoma diagnosis in 2022. This April, she shared that the cancer had progressed to stage four and spread to her lungs and brain.
Over the years, doctors removed 17 melanomas from her back. However, they didn’t understand how far the cancer had spread inside her body, despite the treatments.
Mellencamp shared a heartwarming video announcing that her cancer is now undetectable, after initially being told she had a 50/50 chance of survival.

During her iHeartRadio podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, she shared some good news: recent scans showed no detectable cancer after her immunotherapy treatment yesterday.
I’m still undergoing immunotherapy treatment for about a year, and I haven’t reached remission yet.
I was completely stunned when I heard the news, I felt numb. Because I’m still undergoing immunotherapy and continuing to fight this, I’ll likely still have days where I don’t feel well – you just have to keep going, you know?
Doctors explained that it takes time to see results – about a year, then two, and by three years, you might be considered in remission. That was really big news yesterday.
Oh my god, she actually did it! I was screaming at the TV, she never gave up, not for a single day! Dolores was right, she’s fought harder than anyone I’ve ever seen. It was amazing to watch, and Dolores filling in for Tamra didn’t even matter because all eyes were on her!
Mellencamp shared positive news, saying the tumors were continuing to get smaller and that he was having a good day overall.
The reality star said it’s just her eldest child who thus far has a grasp on the health update.
When talking to her kids, she said Slate truly gets it. People assume that once the cancer is gone, she’s automatically healthy, but she’s still undergoing treatment and can still get sick.

The star underwent emergency surgery in February to remove large tumors in her brain.
After her melanoma spread in 2022, she received radiation and immunotherapy to treat the resulting tumors.
Mellencamp lived with the symptoms caused by his tumors for about six months before he finally went to the doctor.
Mellencamp revealed on her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge, that she’d been experiencing migraines but pushed through the pain while dealing with other challenges in her life.
The reality TV personality has been sharing updates about her treatment and recovery with her followers online.
Last April, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star showed off her head scars at a cancer benefit, choosing to go without a wig after recent treatments.

She openly shared that her daily decision to wear a wig often depends on how she’s feeling, and encouraged everyone to get their annual skin checks for Melanoma Awareness Month.
She shared on Instagram, along with a photo of herself with a beautiful blonde wig, that she often chooses to wear a wig on days when she’s feeling down. She explained that she typically decides between wearing a wig or going without, depending on how she feels each day.
Dealing with stage 4 brain and lung tumors is a really difficult journey with intense ups and downs. She strongly encouraged her followers to get regular yearly checkups.
John Mellencamp’s daughter is using Melanoma Awareness Month to encourage everyone to get checked and remind their friends and family to do the same.
