Jennifer Lawrence is not opposed to plastic surgery.

Jennifer Lawrence, 35, recently told The New Yorker that she’s considering breast augmentation and discussed all the cosmetic procedures she’s had done.

The actress shared that her body hasn’t recovered after giving birth to her second child with her husband, Cooke Maroney, earlier this year.

Honestly, hearing her talk about it… it just broke my heart. She said after having Cy, her first, she mostly recovered, things went back to normal. But then she had her second… and she just said nothing bounced back. It felt so raw, just hearing her say it. Like, it wasn’t the same at all, and it’s just… devastating to think about.

Lawrence said that she’s planning to shoot a nude scene on-camera in spring.

Lawrence also said that she would still get the surgery if she wasn’t a famous actress.

‘Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,’ the star said, adding, ‘But I think yes.’

Jennifer Lawrence has admitted to getting Botox, but she’s careful not to overdo it, recognizing that she needs to be able to move her forehead for acting.

She also revealed that she doesn’t get fillers because they show on camera.

Lawrence explained she hasn’t had a facelift, but joked, ‘I definitely plan to get one eventually!’

During the interview, Jennifer Lawrence shared that she had a son, and also discussed her struggles with anxiety after giving birth.

The actress and her husband, an art gallery director named Cooke, welcomed their second baby in March. The baby is now over six months old.

While discussing her new movie, based on Ariana Harwicz’s book ‘Die, My Love’ and produced by Martin Scorsese, the actress shared that she recently had a second son. She jokingly mentioned she may have let slip his name back in September.

Honestly, when my friend had her baby, Cy, in February 2022, she actually had a really good experience after the birth. She wasn’t struggling with postpartum difficulties like so many others do – it was a surprisingly positive time for her.

She explained that while her recovery after her second child was more difficult, after her first she mostly struggled with external issues and people around her.

‘I just thought every time he was sleeping he was dead,’ the Oscar winner said.

I assumed his sadness stemmed from unhappiness with his life, or perhaps with me or his family. I worried I was failing as a parent and feared I’d negatively impact my children’s lives.

Lawrence explained that she was given Zurzuvae, a new medication, to treat her anxiety after giving birth.

She shared that she cried while asking ChatGPT for information about breastfeeding. Surprisingly, the AI’s supportive response actually made her feel more anxious and caused her to question her own instincts.

The automated voice praised her, saying she was a wonderful and loving mother. However, knowing a robot delivered the compliment made her doubt the genuineness of similar praise from other people.

During the same interview, the No Hard Feelings star talked about her longtime battle with anxiety.

‘I feel like I am driven by anxiety,’ she shared at one point. 

As a child, I dealt with worry by striving to be well-behaved and make good choices, hoping to avoid disappointing God or my parents.

In a 2022 Vogue interview, Jennifer Lawrence described becoming a mother for the first time as a completely new beginning, saying the birth of her son, Cy, ‘felt like my whole life had started over.’

She was completely lost in adoration. “I was just so in love,” she explained, adding with enthusiasm, “And I suddenly found myself falling in love with all babies – newborns are just incredible!”

She also talked about how being with Cy made her incredibly happy, saying it was an overwhelming feeling she’d never experienced before. She felt a depth of emotion she didn’t know she was capable of, and that this feeling extended to how she felt about her husband as well.
