Level Infinite, a part of Tencent Games, has revealed that its new open-world action RPG, Honor of Kings: World, will be released in spring 2026 on both mobile devices and PCs. This game, based on the popular Honor of Kings franchise, was originally announced in November 2021, and players in China could sign up for early access starting this April.

The release of Honor of Kings: World, recently named “Most Anticipated Game of the Year” at the GamingonPhone Awards 2025, will be delayed slightly. Developed by Tencent Games and TiMi Studio Group, this open-world RPG spin-off will be available soon, offering players a new way to experience the Honor of Kings universe.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting this game, and I think it will be worth the wait. Many in the gaming community are calling it the “Genshin Killer” due to its engaging gameplay and expansive open world, which is inspired by Chinese mythology. Players will be able to explore diverse locations like the Dreamweave Plains, Dragon Valley, and mysterious underground areas.

What’s really cool is you get to team up with your favorite Heroes of the Kitchen Kingdom characters, use their special abilities, and even relax between fights by building a house or starting a new job. I’m really impressed with what I’ve seen of the game so far. The graphics are amazing, and it has a lot to offer with its different weapons, multiplayer options, and challenging boss battles. I’m eager to play it and hope it’s released worldwide all at once.
