Aussie influencer left disfigured after she smashes front teeth in horrific accident: ‘I’m so grateful to be alive’

An Australian social media personality was seriously injured in an accident, resulting in broken teeth and lasting facial disfigurement.

Cartia Mallan, a 27-year-old living in the UK, recently shared disturbing photos on Instagram showing her badly bruised and swollen mouth.

Close-up shots reveal the Australian actress is missing a significant portion of her two front teeth, permanently altering her famous smile.

Mallan told her 480,000 followers that she had to go to the hospital after the incident. Doctors performed a heart test and a scan to check for a concussion.

She explained in her post that she waited seven hours at the hospital for concussion and heart scans before finally getting a cut on her lip stitched up.

She added: ‘But yes, that’s a big chunk out of my two front teeth.’ 

She later shared a photo of her new teeth.

‘Waited six hours to get into an emergency dentist to put my teeth back in,’ she explained.

Mallan promised to share more about what happened when she’s feeling up to it, reassuring her worried fans that she’ll explain the accident later.

“What a day,” she said. “I’m just so thankful to be okay—things could have turned out much worse.”

This follows recent news about Mallan, who had a public disagreement with her business partner and friend, influencer Ashton Wood, earlier in the year.

Together, the couple had over a million followers and were famous for openly sharing personal stories on their podcast, Common Chaos, and on social media like TikTok.

The podcast description says life is chaotic, and best friends Cartia and Ashton definitely experience that in their own lives.

Just three months after starting, the TikTok-famous brand Highline, which sold popular matcha green tea, suddenly disappeared without any explanation.

For months, Cartia and Ashton, both 31 and still living in London, didn’t say anything about it.

After months of rumors, a source told the Daily Mail that Cartia and Ashton, who used to be very close like family, had a falling out because of a romantic dispute.

According to a source, Ashton reconnected with Cartia’s former boyfriend, Josh Heuston, whom she knew from Australia. This was deeply hurtful to Cartia and considered a major betrayal.
