Although Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump haven’t always been close, Schwarzenegger recently defended the President during a CNN interview on Monday.

Tapper pressed further, asking Schwarzenegger if he thought the Republican Party was behind the issue. Schwarzenegger simply replied, ‘No.’

The star, originally from Austria, noted that Democrats had successfully manipulated district lines in two states to their advantage.

Schwarzenegger pointed out that extreme gerrymandering is happening in states like Massachusetts, where despite around 40% of voters supporting Trump, the state has no representatives who align with that view.

Schwarzenegger pointed out that the Republican Party currently has no members in the House of Representatives, calling it something to consider.

The well-known action movie star also stated that the Democratic Party’s attempts to manipulate district boundaries in the Southwest had been successful.

Arnold Schwarzenegger pointed out that despite 45% of New Mexico voters supporting Trump and the Republican party, the state has no Republican representatives in the House of Representatives.
