Game Of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead Wright is married.
The 26-year-old actor is known for his role as Bran Stark in the HBO series, and he received a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Supporting Young Actor for his work on the show.
He recently posted photos from his private wedding in London, sharing glimpses of the ceremony with his partner, who he identified only as ‘M’.
He wrote in the caption of his photos: ‘I’ve met the most amazing person, and today was the best day of my life. I’m so grateful for our incredible friends and family. What a wonderful day, what a wonderful life – I love you, M! ❤️’
‘An enormous thank you to everyone who made the day so special.’
The photos captured them leaving the ceremony, showered with confetti from loved ones.

They then took a red London bus to their reception to enjoy the evening with dinner and dancing.
Sophie Turner, who played his on-screen sister Sansa Stark, excitedly wrote ‘Congratulations Isaaaaaac!!!!!!’ in the comments.
While John Bradley, (Samwell Tarly) added: ‘Oh MATE!! Congratulations! ❤️’
In 2019, after the show concluded, Isaac Hempstead Wright shared that he was surprised his character, Bran, ended up becoming king in the controversial final season.
Okay, so I was absolutely losing it when I heard him talk about it! Honestly, it just meant the world to me that he was so happy about a character with a disability becoming king. It’s such a huge moment for representation, and the fact that he noticed and was pleased? Ugh, it made my whole week! It feels like things are finally starting to change, and hearing him say that just confirmed it for me.
Isaac joined the cast of Game of Thrones at age 12 and never imagined that the youngest Stark character would eventually become king of all the Seven Kingdoms.
He admitted he never suspected Bran, saying, “I honestly didn’t have the slightest idea!”
Isaac also spoke of his pride at Bran representing the disabled community on screen.

He praised the show’s decision to have a character with a disability win, calling it a remarkable and special moment. He noted how unexpected it was, considering all the fantastical elements and other characters in the story, and highlighted how meaningful it felt to see Bran succeed.
He was especially pleased with his character’s journey, evolving from being known as ‘Bran the Broken’ to ultimately becoming ‘The Lord of the Six Kingdoms’.
He said that in the very first episode, viewers likely believed Bran was going to die after Jaime Lannister pushed him from a window.
‘He goes from being this vulnerable character to the most powerful there is,’ he added.
Isaac said he actually enjoyed the divisive ending, but understood the writers couldn’t make everyone happy.
As a longtime fan, I’ve always believed the beauty of Game of Thrones is that it’s not like your typical superhero story. It’s a complex world, and I never expected everything to be perfectly resolved with all the characters’ stories neatly wrapped up. That just wasn’t the point of the show, and that’s what I loved about it.
He previously explained that he believed he’d been given a deliberately silly script, and he understood why devoted fans were upset with how the story ended.
He told Entertainment Weekly he initially believed the script was a prank. He thought the showrunners, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, had sent everyone a version where their own character ended up on the Iron Throne, like a joke. He described his reaction as, ‘Yeah, good one guys… Oh, wow, it’s actually happening!’
He expressed sympathy for disappointed fans, but admitted it would be very challenging to end the show without upsetting someone.
Okay, let’s talk about that Game of Thrones finale! Honestly, it was a real gut punch. Basically, Jon Snow ended up being banished after making the incredibly difficult decision to kill Daenerys. It was a shocking turn of events, especially considering he was, technically, the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. It definitely left viewers reeling!
As punishment for killing the Mad Queen, Jon was sentenced to spend the rest of his life with the Night’s Watch, forbidden to marry or have children.
Though the group made it through, the Stark family members were left scattered and heartbroken, deeply upsetting viewers.
Bran became king of six kingdoms, with Sansa becoming Queen of the North. Arya, meanwhile, set off to discover what lay beyond Westeros.
Isaac defended the HBO team’s creative choices, explaining that the unexpected ending was intentional.
