Jennifer Lawrence shared that she and her husband welcomed a baby boy, and also discussed her struggles with anxiety after giving birth earlier this year.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to hear about growing families! It’s been lovely following the news about this actress – she and her husband, an art gallery director, welcomed their second baby back in March. Their little one is now over six months old, and I’m sure they’re completely smitten!
While discussing her upcoming movie, an adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s novel Die, My Love and produced by Martin Scorsese, she shared that she recently had another son, and people are speculating his name is Louie.
Now that she has two sons, she’s been sharing what it’s like adjusting to life after having her baby six months ago.
She mentioned that after her son Cy was born in February 2022, she didn’t experience significant difficulties with her postpartum recovery.
As a lifestyle expert, I often talk about the realities of motherhood, and it’s something everyone experiences differently. I recently shared with The New Yorker that while my first postpartum period was incredibly challenging – I felt like I was battling everyone around me – my second was actually more difficult personally. It just goes to show, there’s no one-size-fits-all experience, and even subsequent experiences can be vastly different.

‘I just thought every time he was sleeping he was dead,’ the Oscar winner said.
I assumed his sadness stemmed from unhappiness with his life, or perhaps with me or his family. I worried I was failing as a parent and feared I’d negatively impact my children’s lives.
Lawrence explained that she was given Zurzuvae, a new medication, to treat her anxiety after giving birth.
She shared that she cried while using ChatGPT to ask about breastfeeding. Surprisingly, the AI’s supportive response actually made her feel more anxious and uncertain about her abilities.
The robot praised her, saying she was a wonderful and loving mother. But because it was a robot delivering the compliment, she started to wonder if anyone else was being genuine when they said the same thing.
During the same interview, the No Hard Feelings star talked about her longtime battle with anxiety.
She explained that anxiety often motivates her. As a child, she coped with feeling anxious by striving to be well-behaved and make good choices, hoping to avoid disappointing her parents or God.
During an interview, journalist Jia Tolentino playfully asked Jennifer Lawrence about any cosmetic procedures she’d had, and Lawrence responded with honesty.

The actress, known for The Hunger Games, explained she avoids facial fillers because they’re noticeable on screen. However, she does get a small amount of Botox, allowing her to still move her forehead and convincingly portray characters who can’t afford cosmetic procedures.
When asked if she’d gotten a facelift, she replied: ‘No, but believe me, I’m gonna!’
She appeared to accidentally share the name of her second child while out in New York City in early September.
People saw her with two keychains: one had her first son’s name, Cy, and the other said ‘Louie,’ which many believe is the name of her second child.
The actress revealed she was expecting her second child when her representative shared the news with Vogue in an article last October.
Originally from Kentucky, the couple tied the knot in October 2019 at the Belcourt mansion in Newport, Rhode Island.

Maroney has worked as the art gallery director for Gladstone Gallery in New York City since 2022.
Last October, someone with knowledge of the situation told People magazine that Jennifer Lawrence’s son, Cy, will be around three years old when her new baby is born.
She’s overjoyed to be a mother and is excited to be expecting another baby. She feels the timing is just right, as her son will be three years old when the new arrival comes.
In a 2022 Vogue interview, Jennifer Lawrence described the incredible feeling of becoming a mother for the first time, saying the birth of her son, Cy, felt like a fresh start to her life.
She was completely smitten, lost in adoration. She explained she’d also developed a fondness for all babies, finding newborns particularly wonderful.
She also talked about how being with Cy made her feel incredibly happy, saying it was an overwhelming experience that opened her heart in ways she never thought possible, and that this feeling extended to how she felt about her husband as well.
