I initially suspected Julia was causing all the drama in this 90 Day Fiancé story, but now I believe the real problem is Ron and Betty, Brandon’s parents, and how much they interfere in his marriage. Brandon actually encourages their involvement, often bringing them into fights to gang up on his wife if he feels wronged. Now that they’ve been married for a few years and are expecting a baby, things really need to change.

Once Julia and Brandon’s baby arrives, we’ll likely see more of their lives beyond the upcoming TV season. Hopefully, by then, Brandon will have been able to set clear expectations with his parents. Being new parents is already challenging, and unannounced visits will probably just cause more conflict.

Ron and Betty are welcome to be involved and help with the baby, and Julia has always cared about them. However, it’s reasonable for her to set some limits. Brandon shouldn’t use the baby to avoid dealing with past issues – he needs to address those problems directly.
