Aurora Gaming open the way for Xtreme Gaming at PGL Wallachia Season 6

Aurora Gaming will no longer participate in PGL Wallachia Season 6, with Xtreme Gaming taking their place in the tournament.

PGL Wallachia Season 6 is coming up soon, but Aurora Gaming has pulled out of the competition with less than three weeks to go. Many Dota 2 teams are feeling tired as the year ends and they juggle a lot of events. Teams are also still adjusting their rosters after The International. Fortunately, TI 2025’s second-place team, Xtreme Gaming, will take Aurora’s spot.

Aurora Gaming skips PGL Wallachia Season 6

Aurora has started the season strong despite recent changes to their team, including the addition of new coach Damien Chok “kpii” Sau-jing. They’ve performed well in both FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and BLAST Slam IV, but with a busy tournament schedule, they’ve decided to pull out of PGL Wallachia Season 6.

They didn’t explain why they were pulling out, and with everything else going on, they’re already busy. However, the announcement of their departure also included news of who would be taking their place.

Xtreme Gaming hasn’t competed since a tough loss in the grand finals of TI 2025, and they’re now entering the competition with a brand new lineup. This roster reunites Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and Wang “Ame” Chunyu, and the team has the potential to make a big impact right away. Along with teams like Team Tidebound and Roar Gaming in the mix, Dota 2 fans in China will be eagerly following the action.

Aurora is currently competing in a couple of tournaments, but their main goals are to win at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 and BLAST Slam IV. They’re also planning to participate in DreamLeague Season 27, and it’s unlikely they’ll pull out, though we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
