Boxer Conor Benn ‘to follow in father Nigel’s footsteps by joining I’m A Celeb’ and could enter camp just days after his epic rematch with rival Chris Eubank Jnr

Conor Benn is apparently considering appearing on the 2025 season of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’. This would be 23 years after his father, the boxer Nigel Benn, was a contestant on the show.

The 29-year-old former world champion might appear on the show shortly after his fight against Chris Eubank Jr., which is scheduled for November 15th in London.

Eubank Jr. and his opponent will fight again at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Eubank Jr. won their first fight in April, a tough and exciting match that lasted 12 rounds and earned him a £10 million prize by unanimous decision.

ITV is reportedly trying to get the popular boxer to appear on their new show, which is scheduled to begin airing shortly after his fight. They think he’d be a big draw for audiences.

Organizing everything is difficult with the show starting so soon, but ITV and Conor McGregor both want to make it work if possible.

Conor’s popularity has greatly increased thanks to his heated rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr. While his focus is definitely on the upcoming fight, his impressive physique also makes him a strong contender to be this year’s male pin-up star.

According to a source, producers of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ believe he would be a fantastic addition to the show, and they’re considering bringing him in as a latecomer.

Daily Mail have contacted Conor Benn’s representatives for comment.

As a huge fan of ‘I’m A Celebrity…’, I keep seeing guesses about who’s going to be on the show this year. But a show representative just clarified that all those names floating around are just rumors – nothing is confirmed yet!

In 2002, while on the reality show ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, 61-year-old Nigel was involved in a heated argument with Rhona Cameron, 60, who ultimately won the series. This disagreement led to accusations that Nigel was homophobic.

Following his criticism of the openly gay comedian, calling her complaints excessive, she responded with a strongly worded rebuke, telling him to “read your Bible” and then, more forcefully, to “go away and leave me alone.”

To which a furious Nigel replied: ‘You’re lucky you’re not a man or I’d knock you, sparko.’

Popular TV personality Ruby Wax is reportedly joining the next season of the ITV show as well.

Sources say the 72-year-old actress and comedian is likely to appear on the next series of the show, which begins next month, and is currently discussing details with ITV before traveling to Australia.

Ruby Wax first became well-known in 1985 as an actress on the ITV comedy series, Girls On Top. She later became a popular interviewer, hosting shows like Ruby Wax Meets on the BBC.

According to a source, Ruby is set to appear on the show. They described her as a well-known television personality who will bring a sense of importance and prestige to this year’s cast.

Having interviewed many famous celebrities, she’ll easily connect with the other contestants in camp.

‘It will make great TV for viewers.’

A representative for the show told the Daily Mail that any rumored names for this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’ contestants are just guesses at this point.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I’m absolutely losing it because Christine McGuinness just told the Daily Mail she’s going to be on the next series! Can you even?! It’s amazing, especially since she just left Celebs Go Dating! I know the ITV bosses probably weren’t thrilled she spilled the beans, but honestly, good for her! I’m already counting down the days!

I’ve been a huge fan of the show for ages, so I was thrilled to hear she’d finally joined the cast! Apparently, she’d been asked for years, but she finally said yes on a whim – a real ‘why not?’ moment. It sounds like she’s ready to embrace a fresh start after her split from Paddy, and I think this is the perfect way to do it. It’s great to see her taking on a new challenge!

Christine revealed at the Pride of Britain Awards last Monday that she might arrive at camp later than the other contestants. This is because she’s afraid of heights and wants to avoid the show’s famous parachute jump.

She said: ‘In the past I am never away from my children, I’d be frightened of the creepy crawlies.

I experience sensory sensitivities, and I’ve never traveled outside of Europe, so flying would be difficult. However, I’m willing to try and push through it.

Getting to the jungle will be challenging, but I’ve decided to embrace a ‘why not’ attitude this year and just go for it.

Christine, diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in 2020, explained that her children, who are also autistic, are now older and accustomed to her being away. Because the family still lives together, she feels confident that their father, Paddy, will be there to support them while she’s gone.
