Han and Can from The Block were heartbroken on Sunday night when their house in Daylesford, Victoria, didn’t sell at auction during the show’s exciting finale.
Despite building a beautiful home and entering the final auction with optimism, the couple unfortunately weren’t successful.
During the dramatic auction finale, the two expressed their frustration, saying they were tired of putting in effort and consistently failing. They stated, ‘No matter how hard we try, we always lose.’
We spent a significant amount of time on this, and it would only be worthwhile if it improved our financial situation.
The women said they felt truly ill after the harsh auction left them with no money at all.
Can admitted they were a bit disappointed the property didn’t sell at auction, speaking to 9Entertainment afterward.

Okay, so even though they didn’t win, Han and Can were amazing about it! Seriously, they were so sweet and positive, and they said they were actually really proud of everything they accomplished on that crazy renovation show. I mean, it was brutal, and they totally crushed it, even if the judges didn’t see it the same way. I’m just saying, they’re the real deal!
Can thought back, explaining that they’d used the best possible approach. Their team and the auctioneer had really pushed hard to get the most value out of a difficult sale.
‘It’s been a tough day watching all our fellow contestants go through.’
The pair said that they were ultimately felled by a difficult real estate market.
The Melbourne and Victoria real estate market is currently challenging, and we’re definitely seeing that impact our business,” Can explained.
Things are just beginning to improve. We’re hoping for much better results from the contestants next year in Mount Eliza.
Although the couple from Western Australia didn’t make any money on The Block, they maintained they were still taking away something even more important.
Can shared that they were grateful for their good health and strong relationship, and very proud of the home they had built together.

Han also mentioned they were pleased with the beautiful home they created while working on the show.
She admitted the house was beautiful and a bit unusual, but expressed confidence that someone would appreciate it just as much as they did.
‘It’s just going to take a little bit of time… that’s totally fine.’
The couple concluded they have no regrets about their time on the hit renovation show.
We gave it our all,” Han explained. “We’re proud of the effort we put in, both individually and as a team, and we know we did everything possible.”
After an exciting 49 episodes, The Block finished with a thrilling finale on Sunday, as all five renovated homes were auctioned off.
Britt and Taz, a couple from Western Australia, surprised everyone by achieving the highest sale of the day, selling their beautifully designed House 3 for $3.41 million.
The popular team won a total of $520,000. They started with $2.99 million in prize money and earned an additional $420,000, plus a $100,000 bonus.
But it all went downhill from there.

Robby and Mat, a pair of home renovators, recently sold their property in South Australia for $3.099 million. After expenses, they made a profit of just $109,999.
The friends were really upset with how little money they won, and now they have to share it amongst themselves.
Sonny and Alicia recently sold their house for $3.06 million, which was $120,000 more than the minimum price they were willing to accept.
Despite the small yield, the couple were happy with the result.
However, not all of the properties sold. Emma and Ben, as well as Han and Can, weren’t able to find buyers for their homes.
