Viral Video Shows DWTS’ Robert Irwin Adorably Geeking Out Over Jonathan Bailey Sending Him Flowers After His Wicked Routine

I was absolutely blown away by Dancing With the StarsWicked Night! It wasn’t just that Jon M. Chu, the director of both Wicked films, was a guest judge – every single dance was incredible and felt like it was floating! The couples really went all out performing to songs from the movies, and several of them even earned perfect 10s – the first of the season! The sweetest moment, though? Robert Irwin received flowers from the actor who plays Prince Fiyero, and the video is everywhere – it’s just so charming!

Irwin and his partner Witney Carson did a jazz routine to Jonathan Bailey’s big Wicked number, “Dancing Through Life,” and they earned four nines. While it didn’t earn the season’s first 10, as that honor went to two other couples, it did earn them something else. The wildlife conservationist shared a video on his Instagram of Carson handing him a bouquet of flowers with a note from Bailey praising him for his performance. He, understandably, freaked out. He also refused to show Carson the note and to put the flowers down, and it’s absolutely everything:

It was so kind of Bailey to do that for Irwin, especially because he wasn’t obligated to, but he chose to. Honestly, though, Irwin’s reaction was even better! He was completely shocked when he realized the note was from the Bridgerton star and couldn’t stop talking about it. I’m now wondering how long Bailey had been carrying those flowers around the studio before finally setting them down for rehearsals. I bet they stayed close by all day!

Robert Irwin is quickly becoming a favorite on Dancing With the Stars, and many people are supporting him. From the moment he was announced as a contestant on Season 34, fans have been hoping he’ll win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, just like his sister Bindi did ten years ago with her partner, Derek Hough.

It’s funny, people have even asked him if he’d ever be a Chippendales or Thunder from Down Under dancer! Once he finishes Dancing with the Stars, though, he’ll likely go back to focusing on Australia Zoo. But that doesn’t mean he couldn’t still do performances on the side.

Jonathan Bailey is returning to his role as Fiyero in the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good. With many exciting films planned for 2025, and after seeing his performance on Dancing with the StarsWicked night, I’m especially looking forward to the movie’s release on November 21st.
