She dressed casually in a cherry-print T-shirt, navy slacks, and a blue hat showing her support for her favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs.

A blue scarf tied around her neck added another stylish twist.

Bonnie was seen relaxing outside, soaking up the sun while listening to music or a podcast.

Helen Hunt is a highly successful actress with a long list of popular film credits. She’s starred in movies like Jerry Maguire, Rain Man, Only You, The Green Mile, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Cars, and recently appeared in the holiday film Red One.

She’s best known for playing Sarah Whittle in the 1995 movie Jumanji, where her character bravely played a perilous, magical board game.

Robin Williams portrayed Alan Parrish, a friend of Sarah’s who became trapped in the game Jumanji after making a mistake while playing.

Robin Williams took his own life in 2014 at the age of 63, and his friend, Hunt, has thought about him every single day since.

She told Entertainment Tonight last year that she constantly thinks about her beloved Robin and misses him very much. She also expressed gratitude for their friendship and the time they shared, calling it a truly special period in her life.

She especially cherished the time she spent with the actor and her family, describing it as a truly memorable experience. She valued the connection they all shared – getting to know his family, building trust, and enjoying his wonderful sense of humor. According to Second City, Hunt worked as an oncology nurse for five years before becoming a full-time comedian.

She started her own improv comedy group and also performed with the renowned Second City troupe in Chicago.

Lorne Michaels offered the actress a position on Saturday Night Live, but she declined, feeling the show wouldn’t allow her enough creative freedom.

In a 2008 interview, she recalled asking if actors could improvise if a scene wasn’t going well. He firmly responded, “Absolutely not.”

She also pointed out that before Tina Fey became part of the show, it wasn’t a good platform for advancing women’s careers.

Hunt later achieved her dream of hosting a talk show, called The Bonnie Hunt Show, and performing in front of a live audience.

She took note from late night greats Johnny Carson and David Letterman when she began her new role.

In a 2009 interview with The Saturday Evening Post, she explained that she learned a great deal from Johnny Carson, specifically how to make guests feel comfortable and show respect for their experiences and stories. He consistently prioritized that, she said.

He wasn’t stressed or worried at all, which is rare to see on TV these days. David Letterman has always been a great mentor and supporter – he’s given me opportunities on his show and even as a business partner. He’s a true friend, someone I trust to give me advice or help me work through new ideas. Both Johnny Carson and David Letterman really understood me.

Hunt was previously married to banker John Murphy from 1988 to 2006 and is also an aunt to 15.

In a 2022 interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, she shared that while she doesn’t have children herself, she’s very close to her 15 nieces and nephews. She described watching her sisters spring into action to protect the youngest ones, saying you’ll do anything to keep your family safe. She added that her own mother somehow managed to protect seven children all under the age of ten simultaneously, which she finds incredible to consider.
