Although Paloma Faith was ‘murdered’ first on this season of The Celebrity Traitors, she surprised everyone on Friday with some exciting personal news: she’s pregnant!
The 44-year-old singer revealed on Instagram that she’s 18 weeks pregnant. Looking back, fans noticed she hinted at the pregnancy for months.
Paloma often shares updates about her life on Instagram and TikTok, but lately she’s been concealing her stomach, likely because she’s pregnant and doesn’t want people to notice.
Despite being eliminated from the show, Paloma shared a playful video on Instagram showing her arriving home with all her suitcases still full of the clothes she hadn’t worn.
In one video, she’s wearing a coat and scarf. In another, seemingly related to previous controversial content, she’s sitting down with a cushion concealing her baby bump.
In another clip, when she met up with Niko Omilana—the first contestant eliminated—baby emojis appeared on the screen, possibly hinting at a pregnancy.

Paloma posted a photo of herself in a bikini while on vacation in Ibiza with the caption ‘Mumma is recharging,’ leading fans to believe she was expecting her third child.
Paloma revealed she’s expecting a baby on Friday, sharing photos of her growing bump. She jokingly captioned the post, ‘Plot twist, becoming a mom again!’ and used hashtags referencing her age and pregnancy stage.
She has two daughters with her former partner, Leyman Lahcine. They ended their nine-year relationship in 2023.
Oh my gosh, she’s dating Stevie Thomas! He’s a managing director at The JamHouse, which is SO cool, and they’ve been together for a whole year now! I’m seriously so happy for her, they seem perfect together!
Paloma has publicly shared her difficult journey with fertility, revealing she had both of her children through IVF treatment.
Paloma endured six rounds of IVF, including a difficult ectopic pregnancy and a heartbreaking miscarriage, before finally becoming a mother to her two children.
After finally becoming pregnant with her first child thanks to IVF, Paloma experienced a very difficult and painful labor.
The artist shared that she had an emergency C-section, which unfortunately caused fertility issues and later led to post-partum psychosis.

I was so moved when Paloma shared her birth experiences on Elizabeth Day’s ‘How To Fail’ podcast last year. She described it as incredibly tough, saying it was honestly unbearable… It really resonated with me, and I think it takes a lot of courage to talk so openly about something so personal and challenging.
It began when my water broke – essentially, I went into labor, but I was only about six months pregnant. The doctors told me they would need to induce labor, meaning I was going to have a premature baby.
I was determined to recover, so I stayed in bed, resting and drinking plenty of fluids – about four litres of water daily – for a whole month to help my body recover.
She described a deeply difficult time, explaining that after being in labor for 21 hours and then going a week with almost no sleep – only seven hours in seven days – she was completely exhausted.
I unexpectedly needed a C-section, which unfortunately led to fertility issues later on. I also experienced a period of post-partum psychosis, likely brought on by severe sleep deprivation – I was actually hallucinating. Looking back, I think I was probably depressed for a couple of years without fully recognizing it at the time.
I later decided I wanted another child, but the first three attempts at IVF weren’t successful. Thankfully, the fourth attempt worked, and I was very determined throughout the process.
Paloma shared that she experienced a miscarriage while filming the 2019 show Pennyworth, during which she portrayed the character Bet Sykes, a sociopath.
While filming a fight scene, she discovered she was miscarrying. Despite this, she continued working, worried about losing her job. She felt she’d be left with neither a healthy pregnancy nor a source of income if she stopped.

Paloma explained she kept her miscarriage private at work. It began while she was filming a fight scene for Pennyworth, and she felt compelled to continue working despite what was happening. She shared she had to excuse herself to use the restroom nine times.
I explained that I’d eaten something that upset my stomach, hoping they wouldn’t send me home. I didn’t want to leave; going home meant losing my job and potentially losing the pregnancy.
Paloma described the IVF treatments she and her ex-husband, Leyman, underwent while trying to have a baby before their daughters were born as ‘extremely difficult and emotionally draining’.
It’s incredibly stressful going through this, and it’s a constant worry. It’s something people aren’t aware of, and we’ve been dealing with some problems…
I soon discovered there were issues, and learned the problems with our fertility treatment stemmed from his side. Despite advances in science, the blame and burden still unfairly fall on women.
She then shared that she had an ectopic pregnancy, which happens when a fertilized egg grows outside the uterus, most often in a fallopian tube.
After that, I experienced an ectopic pregnancy, and it began to affect my fertility because one of my fallopian tubes was damaged.
I got lucky and became pregnant twice in a short amount of time, after the first attempt didn’t work.

Earlier this year, Paloma shared that a new relationship has changed her mind about marriage, something she had previously dismissed entirely.
She recently shared details about her relationship, revealing she’s been dating her new partner for almost a year and that things have become quite serious.
In a March episode of Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo’s podcast, Newly Weds, Paloma mentioned something unusual: ‘This is a strange thing.’
I’ve never been a fan of marriage, honestly. Growing up, my mom raised me with strong feminist beliefs, and it really shaped my view. Marriage, historically, feels like it’s been about controlling women, and that’s just not something I agree with. Plus, my kids’ father and I never tied the knot, and that felt right for us.
‘Weirdly, I don’t know what’s changed in me, but this guy gives me a bit like “Oh well”‘.
I’ll never forget when I first met him. I was so adamant – I told him straight away that marriage was absolutely not for me, and he shouldn’t even bother asking! It feels funny looking back on that now.
Over time, I’ve become more open-minded and flexible in my thinking. I can feel myself becoming more understanding and less rigid.

If my mom finds out about this, she’ll probably ask what’s happening and if I’m having a mid-life crisis.
‘I do think having kids with someone is stronger than marriage from experience.’
Asked by Jamie if it means she’s in love now, Paloma replied: ‘Yeah.
I also believe I understand how things could develop. There’s still a chance for success, but only if we invest and communicate with each other.
I’m a big believer in therapy. Finding a good therapist can be incredibly helpful and is something I think everyone should consider.
‘If you’re with someone who’s like “I’m willing to go and try that.”‘
