Staying on top is crucial in the competitive world of theme parks and tourism. That’s why you can expect Walt Disney World to go above and beyond to maintain its leading position.
I just read a new report trying to estimate how many people visit theme parks worldwide, and it’s interesting, though a little strange. They seem to have left out some parks – I was surprised Dollywood wasn’t included! – but Disney World and Disneyland are definitely highlighted. It feels like a big marketing win for Disney to be positioned as the top dog, especially considering the report admits they don’t actually get official attendance numbers from the parks themselves. It’s cool to see the estimates, but I take it all with a grain of salt.
