Rosie and her British partner, who now live in Los Angeles, started dating in 2009. They met at a party in London and immediately felt a connection, as Rosie described it.
The couple announced their engagement in 2016. The model first showed off her diamond engagement ring at the Golden Globes.
The happy couple share son Jack, seven, and daughter, Isabella, two.
Rosie mentioned they might get married someday, but it wasn’t something they were focused on right now, especially after Jack was born.
She also spoke about the couple’s 20-year age difference, explaining that his experience and wisdom are very appealing – qualities that often come with age.
Oh my gosh, did you hear?! She finally talked about coming home! Apparently, ever since she was a little girl growing up in Devon, it was always the plan to raise her babies here in the UK. I just knew she’d come back – it feels so right that her kids will grow up with our culture. I’m so happy she’s back where she belongs!
She shared with The Times that they value the schools and education their children are receiving. It was important to them that their children grow up embracing British culture, and they’ve found a strong network of support in the community.
Jay’s parents live nearby and see the children almost every day, while my family visits about every six to eight weeks.
Rosie mentioned her children are having a childhood much like hers, and they even spend a lot of time in Devon, the place where she grew up.
The mother, who rarely posts pictures of her children online, explained that her family spends summers in Devon. She loves that her children get to enjoy the same simple, farm-based experiences she had as a child, and she finds it incredibly meaningful.
