Luna Snow, the popular K-Pop star and hero from Marvel Rivals, will star in her own comic book this January. Marvel has announced details about a special story where she has to deal with the consequences of unexpectedly teaming up with Doctor Doom.
The first issue of Marvel’s Luna Snow: World Tour will be created by Greg Park (known for Agents of Atlas), with art by Ario Anindito (Star Wars: The High Republic) and Takeshi Miyazawa (She-Hulk). Continuing the story from One World Under Doom, where Luna sided with a villainous Marvel character, this new comic will explore the fallout of her choices. She’ll also have to contend with a new challenger: Vibe, a rising K-Pop superhero.
Luna Snow: World Tour #1

- LUNA SNOW ON AN ALL-NEW ADVENTURE!
- As the world recovers from Doctor Doom’s takeover, K-pop star and ice-wielding superhero Luna Snow hits her lowest low yet. So she takes her music into her own hands – and hits the road! But when a new K-pop star appears on the scene with music that’s so catchy it’s criminal, Luna has to shift into hero mode to defend the very fans who can’t stand her. Can she win their hearts and save the day? And which beloved Marvel heroes will join her along the way?
Marvel’s new series follows a singer who’s dropped by her record label, run by a ruthless executive. As a rising K-Pop superhero enters the scene, she channels her frustration into her music and fights back against those who oppose her. Luna must uncover the secret behind a mysterious force called Vibe before it eclipses her career.
Along with the cover art for Luna Snow: World Tour #1 by Ario Anindito, Marvel has revealed the first look at Vibe, Luna’s new opponent. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced, the one-shot comic is available for pre-order now and is expected to arrive in January. Marvel also notes that Luna Snow: World Tour #1 will highlight the character’s place in the Marvel Universe and serve as a great introduction for new fans – especially those who first encountered Luna through the game.
Luna Snow’s New Comic Adventure Introduces a Rival K-Pop Star
In a recent announcement about the upcoming Luna Snow story, writer Greg Pak discussed how the new adventure will add layers to the character. He explained that writing Luna Snow has been enjoyable since her comic book debut, but this story is unique. It will explore what it means for Luna to be both a superhero and a pop star, especially when those with harmful intentions try to take advantage of people with influence.
Pak hinted that a new K-pop villain named Vibe will be Luna’s main opponent, and that some popular Marvel characters will make brief appearances. He also praised the artwork by Ario Anindito and Tak Miyazawa, saying it’s fantastic and makes the comic really stand out – something fans won’t want to miss!
Luna Snow: World Tour #1 is available for pre-order now at local comic shops.
