Sources close to Loose Women’s Kaye Adams say she’s a demanding perfectionist at work, but she’s never crossed the line into being a bully.
People who have worked with the 62-year-old broadcaster describe her as a dedicated professional who consistently treats everyone with respect, particularly those starting their careers.
These statements follow Kaye Adams’ removal from her BBC Radio Scotland program following claims she mistreated coworkers. BBC management is now looking into what happened behind the scenes.
According to a source at the Daily Mail, Kaye Adams is a sharp and assertive woman who isn’t afraid to speak up to producers if she doesn’t agree with them, especially on her BBC program, which is titled after her name.
However, the source emphasized that Kaye consistently communicates her opinions respectfully and in a professional manner, and is never rude or unpleasant to others.
ITV continues to support longtime Loose Women host Kaye Adams while the BBC investigates claims that she shouted at and screamed at junior staff members. The investigation began after these younger employees reported the behavior, which allegedly occurred over her more than 15 years with the station.

Her colleagues have been very supportive, sending encouraging messages as she gets ready to come back to Loose Women next week.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m hearing Kaye is really going through it right now. She’s completely shocked and heartbroken by these complaints and is honestly trying to figure out where all of this is coming from. It’s a really tough situation, and she’s understandably devastated.
ITV and her colleagues on Loose Women are fully supporting her and have been doing everything possible to help her through this.
Most people who work with Kaye describe her as professional and assertive, while also being consistently pleasant.
Some people seem to have misinterpreted her directness. She’s worked as a journalist throughout her career and is naturally assertive, but that doesn’t mean she’s intimidating or a bully.
She’s consistently courteous, even when discussing her radio show and its presentation, demonstrating she deeply cares about how things come across.
A source close to the show said Kaye isn’t appearing on Loose Women this week simply because of scheduling conflicts and the fact that the show isn’t filming on Friday. She’s expected to return to the panel next week.
Kaye has been taken off her BBC Radio Scotland show with a salary of £155,000 a year while the BBC investigates some complaints. This was announced on Sunday.

She won’t be on the air while the BBC investigates claims of inappropriate behavior. These claims were reportedly made through the BBC’s internal reporting system for workplace issues.
This project began after the controversy surrounding the removal of MasterChef hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
Gregg, 61, was sacked after 45 allegations of misconduct spanning 19 years were upheld.
The complaints detailed instances of unwanted touching, three occasions where someone was inappropriately undressed, and other issues like offensive sexual remarks, cultural insensitivity, and racism.
He lost his job at the same time as his former co-host, John, who was fired after using a highly offensive and racist slur.
According to a source, the organization is now handling internal complaints with more attention and care.
According to a source, Kaye met with Victoria Easton Riley, the station’s new head of audio, on October 8th.
The meeting apparently didn’t go as planned, and Kaye supposedly left in anger, which caused more problems afterward.
She has not been on air with her BBC show, The Kaye Adams Programme, since October 6.
A spokesperson for Kaye said: ‘No complaints had been presented to her by the BBC.’
They also noted that she has worked at BBC Radio Scotland for over 15 years without any complaints or concerns ever being raised about her performance or conduct.
The Daily Mail has contacted Kaye’s spokesperson for comment.
