Epic packs are still being released regularly in eFootball 2026, and KONAMI is now featuring powerful Iconic National Attackers. These cards have been popular in the game, known for their strong attacking play. Some of these players now include a ‘Playstyle Change’ feature, which will noticeably alter how they perform on the field.
This update introduces changes to several key players, including Zico, Diego Forlán, and Marco Reus, each with adjusted positions, abilities, and playing styles. Marco Reus is back after a year, alongside Zico, who now boasts a dual-skill Show Time ability. Let’s explore what each player brings to the game.
eFootball 2026 Epic National Attackers
Zico
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
- Show Time Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Blitz Curler
This Zico card is arguably his strongest release yet, boasting fantastic Show Time skills. His dribbling, already excellent, feels even more refined. He immediately becomes one of the top attacking midfielders in the game.

The Blitz Curler is a powerful player who excels at bending shots into the net, which is a valuable skill in today’s game. This is especially useful for Creative Playmaker midfielders who can score impressive goals from distance. He also fits well into popular link-up formations, and his strong weak foot makes him a reliable finisher.
It took a few tries on my secondary account to get him, but he appears to be one of the best AMFs in the game, alongside players like Messi, Sneijder, and Uli Hoeneß.
Diego Forlán
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing
Forlán was previously available in the Legends Assemble Epic Cards Selection earlier this year, offered to fans for free through a special contract. While this new version of Forlán appears improved, it’s still not worth spending a significant amount of in-game currency on.

The latest version of Show Time includes the new Phenomenal Finishing skill and improved kicking power stats, features not available in the Legends version. While Forlán always had good kicking power and finishing ability, this new skill enhances those strengths even further.
He’s gotten better at dribbling closely and maintaining his balance, making him feel very smooth when maneuvering in crowded areas. His strength and physicality are a little weak, much like his previous card, so adding a few points to his Physical Contact stat could be helpful. However, this isn’t a major concern if you’re considering adding him to your team.
While he’s known as a top goal scorer, this particular card isn’t a game-changer. If this version had two special skills instead of just one, I’d highly recommend it. For players still needing a strong striker, Forlán is a good option. However, it’s probably not essential, as there are already many excellent strikers available in the game, and some can even be obtained for free right now.
Marco Reus
- Position: LMF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Show Time Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst
Marco Reus has received a new skill called Phenomenal Finishing Show Time, which should noticeably improve his ability to score goals. This, combined with the increasing popularity of formations like LMF and RMF that focus on teamwork and passing, makes Reus a potentially valuable player.

This card is a solid addition to the Epic League and Moments Flashbacks in the game, but it isn’t quite as strong as cards like Hazard or Nedved. While its Speed and Finishing stats aren’t amazing, the combination of Phenomenal Finishing and Acceleration Burst makes the new Reus card a valuable player.
Overall, I believe fans of Germany and Marco Reus will enjoy this version of him in the game, as it’s likely to be the strongest representation of him for a while. However, it probably won’t quite reach the level of the very best left midfielders or wingers currently available.
Verdict on the eFootball 2026 Epic National Attackers
This pack of attackers is really strong, with Zico standing out as a potentially top-tier, late-game player. Forlán and Reus are also solid additions, and all three offer unique strengths, making them potentially useful starters based on how you like to play.
Whether this pack is worth it really depends on what kind of players your team needs in the Attacking Midfielder (AMF) and Center Forward (CF) positions. I don’t particularly like the players included, and if you’re looking for a strong Creative Playmaker AMF and a good Goal Poacher CF, I’d recommend players like Zico and Forlán instead.
Pack Rating: 3.5 out of 5
