Trying to get more Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A? Here is a guide on where you can find them.
Honestly, one of the things I loved most about Pokémon’s Kalos region was Mega Evolution. It felt really special, and no other games have really dug into it much beyond a few Pokémon. But now, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is bringing it back, and I’m hyped! Looks like we’ll be collecting Mega Stones again so we can Mega Evolve our team. It’s awesome to see this feature getting some love!
Here is how to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
How to get Mega Stones in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Pokémon Legends: Z-A offers several ways to obtain Mega Stones, ensuring that many Pokémon can undergo Mega Evolution. The game includes a good variety of these stones.
How to get Mega Stones:
- Trade in Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc.
- Defeat Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon
- Mystery Gifts
There are only a few ways to get Mega Stones, but they are pretty simple to acquire.
Trade in Mega Shards
You can easily obtain Mega Stones by exchanging Mega Shards at Quasartico Inc. – the building that resembles the Eiffel Tower, but with its top portion removed.
Certain Mega Stones are more expensive and require extra Mega Shards. You can find Mega Shards by exploring the city and breaking the pink rocks. When you’ve collected enough, visit Quasartico Inc. and speak with the receptionist to make your purchase.
Defeat Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon
Besides trading Mega Shards, you can also obtain Mega Stones by defeating special, powerful Pokémon that have unexpectedly Mega Evolved. These Pokémon appear as a key element within the game’s storyline and present a significant challenge.
In fact, you will have to battle a few just to advance the main plot.
Once you defeat a Rogue Mega Evolved-Pokémon, you will get its Mega Stone.
Mystery Gifts
The game occasionally features special, limited-time Pokémon available as Mystery Gifts, which you can get through the Link Play feature. When Pokémon Legends: Z-A launched, players received a Ralts and a Gardevoirite (used to Mega Evolve Gardevoir) as a Mystery Gift.
Getting it was incredibly simple – practically anyone with internet access could do so. Plus, Mega Gardevoir is exceptionally strong.
