Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were affectionate with each other while attending Richard Marx’s concert in New York City this week.

The 57-year-old actor, who is said to be discussing a reconciliation with his 69-year-old ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, warmly hugged Foster, 50, at the event.

Jackman looked dapper in a blue suit while Foster glowed in a white dress. 

Following reports from Radar Online, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, who surprised many with their separation announcement in September 2023, are said to be on better terms since deciding to split.

Earlier this year, actress Furness surprised many by revealing her nearly 30-year marriage ended due to a deeply hurtful betrayal. She described the experience as incredibly painful.

The Australian actress, who has generally maintained a polite silence since her separation in 2023 – much like her former husband – made a surprisingly open and honest comment.

Recent reports indicate that the star of The Greatest Showman is trying to rebuild his friendship with his former wife.

According to a source, Hugh has been attempting to reconcile with Debs for some time, but she needed time to be ready to forgive him.

Okay, so the divorce was actually finalized a while back, but we were just waiting on the judge’s final approval to make it completely official. It’s that last little step that really closes the chapter, you know?

Deb, who shares two adopted children with Hugh Jackman, will receive a financial settlement, a source previously told the Daily Mail.

Sources say Deborra has reached a settlement she’s happy with, and it includes a significant amount of spousal support.

Negotiating the financial agreement took some time, but ultimately, she received a settlement she felt was fair. Fortunately, both parties are now in a stable financial position.

The Daily Mail was the first to report in May that they were divorcing, ending their 27-year marriage.

Deborra submitted the legal complaint in New York on May 23rd, and it appears all issues have been resolved privately.

The divorce was uncontested, meaning the couple agreed on the terms and didn’t have a significant disagreement.

According to a source, they’ve already agreed on all the terms of the divorce, including financial support, spousal support, and future child-related costs.

‘They are amicable and they are both fully committed to being the best parents that they can be.’

Hugh and Sutton Foster, who starred together in The Music Man, have been dating for several months, but it’s unclear exactly when their relationship began.
