Demi Moore, 62, shows off her sensational figure in a racy corset as she vows to fight back against the ‘desexualisation of older women’

I was absolutely thrilled when she received so much recognition for her performance in ‘The Substance’ last year. It’s a really powerful film about the pressures faced by actresses as they get older, and how hard it is to stay relevant in an industry obsessed with youth. She completely nailed the role of a woman desperately trying to hold onto her career and her youth, and I think the film really resonated with a lot of people.

Demi Moore is speaking out against the way society often ignores the sexuality of older women. She recently did a photoshoot for Glamour magazine, where she was honored as one of their Women of the Year, as part of her effort to challenge this issue.

The 62-year-old American actress showcased a bold and revealing look for the magazine, wearing a strapless corset with cutouts and a flowing, dramatic skirt.

Demi added to her frame with towering platform heels while she accessorised with diamond earrings.

I always admired how she wore her hair – long, dark, and flowing freely down her back. She told me it wasn’t just a style choice, though; letting it grow was her way of quietly rebelling, a little act of taking control. It was so empowering to see!

During a conversation with her “The Substance” co-star Margaret Qualley, she was asked about her long hair. She explained that after shaving her head for the movie “G.I. Jane” – an experience she found very meaningful – she simply let it grow out.

She added that this change happened around the time she took time off work to be with her children, and she simply decided to stop cutting her hair.

I think it’s also because I tend to be lazy and I don’t enjoy the effort of starting or finishing tasks.

It’s a common idea that women should cut their hair short as they age, but I never agreed with that. It always seemed illogical to me – I didn’t understand why that would need to be true.

I observed that many women experiencing menopause were changing their hairstyles – often cutting them short in a way that seemed to minimize traditionally feminine appearances, almost as if they were intentionally trying to appear less sexualized.

I think it was a mix of really liking it, and maybe I just convinced myself it was true. I’m not sure, really.

Demi looked stunning in a sleek black dress with a high slit and an open back.

She turned heads in a playful purple dress with a cutout that highlighted her fit physique. She also looked stunning in a classic black ballgown featuring a delicate lace top.

As usual, Demi brought her tiny chihuahua, Pilaf, to the photoshoot. She held him while posing in a burnt orange dress.

Demi Lovato had a major career comeback last year with their film, The Substance, a moment fans playfully called the ‘Moore-naissance’.

She gained recognition for playing Elisabeth Sparkle, a well-known TV fitness instructor. However, she was unexpectedly fired on her 50th birthday, leading her to explore a cosmetic procedure called The Substance.

The injections cause her to lose consciousness and experience a painful physical transformation. Afterward, a new version of herself, named Sue and portrayed by Margaret Qualley, appears – a confident and attractive young woman representing her ideal self.

The process requires them to spend one week in a suspended state, followed by another week to recover in the real world.

Trouble begins when Sue refuses to switch between bodies every week, and when she starts using Sparkle’s energy source, the original body begins to rapidly deteriorate.

It’s a contemporary take on the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story, but with a flawless, almost unnervingly perfect, ‘monster.’ This story powerfully explores self-loathing from a feminist perspective.

This instantly popular horror film explores how far women will go with cosmetic surgery to stay in the public eye.

Demi could definitely relate, as she herself had breast augmentation and a nose job early in her career when she first became famous in Hollywood.

She reportedly spent another £250,000 on cosmetic surgery, including a procedure to tighten the skin around her knees, so she could convincingly run on water like a goddess in a scene for the Charlie’s Angels movie.

Demi won a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award for her performance, and was nominated for an Oscar, but Mikey Madison ultimately won the Oscar for her work in Anora.

It was her first Academy Award nomination.

Okay, so everyone loves to talk about the Razzies, right? Those awards for the worst movies? Well, she’s been nominated three times and actually won! Can you believe it? It was for ‘Striptease,’ then ‘G.I. Jane,’ and finally ‘Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.’ I know they’re supposed to be bad, but I’ve seen them all, and honestly, I think people are just mean! I still love her, though. Every single movie!

The actress, known for her role in Ghost and a major star in the 1990s, experienced a surprising comeback after facing criticism for her later film choices.
