Duncan James finds love with a male stripper two months after his split from boyfriend of six years

Duncan James has found love with a male stripper just months after splitting from his long-term ex.

Lee Ryan, 47, from the band Blue is dating Alexander Roque, who performs in the strip show Forbidden Nights. They were recently seen together at a party with the cast of the TV show Hollyoaks.

This new relationship follows Duncan’s recent breakup with Rodrigo Reis, whom he dated for six years.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s early days for Duncan and Alex but things are going really well.

Alex attended the Hollyoaks party with him, and they seemed very into each other. They’re enjoying getting to know each other and seeing if a relationship develops.

Daily Mail has contacted a representative of Duncan James for comment. 

Alexander describes himself on social media as an actor, model and presenter. 

He also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2023 as one half of a magic double act. 

Duncan and Rodrigo, who have been together for six years, shared on social media in August that he was having a summer focused on personal development.

The singer began dating Rodrigo in 2019 and often shared affectionate photos of them together with their fans.

During the summer however, they unfollowed each other on Instagram.  

Sources say Duncan and Rodrigo have ended their six-year relationship.

Going through a breakup is tough, but Duncan is focusing on his band and using music to help him cope.

Daily Mail understands Duncan and Rodrigo ended their relationship a number of months ago.

Duncan previously told the Daily Mail that he and Rodrigo’s daughter have a close relationship and get along very well, despite Rodrigo living in Belgium.

Although they first met in November 2018, their relationship didn’t truly start until April 2019.

The actor publicly came out as gay in his thirties and has a daughter with his former partner, Claire Grainger.
