No trick, just treats: Two of the year’s biggest movies are heading back to theaters for Halloween.
Both Warner Bros. and Netflix are bringing popular titles back to select movie theaters. Warner Bros. will re-release “Sinners” in Imax and Imax 70mm formats for one week starting October 30th, while Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” will have sing-along screenings in theaters for a weekend, from October 31st to November 2nd.
Ryan Coogler’s new horror movie features Michael B. Jordan playing twin brothers who move back to their small town in Mississippi. They use money earned from working with the Chicago mob to open a lively bar and music venue for the local community. The grand opening is a success, but the celebration is interrupted by the arrival of a vampire, an Irish immigrant, who threatens everything.

Dolls and action figures inspired by the popular Netflix movie, “KPop Demon Hunters,” will be available to customers next year.
The critically acclaimed and unique film has become a major box office success, earning over $366.7 million worldwide. Many viewers saw it as director Coogler envisioned – in the immersive Imax 70mm format during its limited initial release. Due to its popularity, the film is getting a second run in Imax 70mm in May.
As a huge film fan, I’m thrilled to share that if you want to experience “Sinners” on glorious IMAX 70mm during its upcoming release, you can catch it at either Universal AMC Citywalk or the Irvine Spectrum here in Southern California. I’m already planning my trip!
Netflix’s popular new movie, “KPop Demon Hunters,” is a fun, family-friendly musical about a K-pop girl group who fight demons using their music and magical weapons. Because the animated film quickly became Netflix’s most-watched movie, the streaming service decided to show it in some theaters a few weeks after it first became available online – a rare move for Netflix.
If you’re excited about the event and can’t wait, you can enjoy a sing-along version of “KPop Demon Hunters” on Netflix.
