Jennifer Lawrence reveals the revolting dish she served Robert Pattinson during a gathering at her home

Jennifer Lawrence shared a story about a time Robert Pattinson visited her home unexpectedly with friends, and the rather unpleasant meal she quickly put together for them.

During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the 35-year-old actress shared a funny story about having Robert Pattinson, 39, over to her house. She’d invited her ‘Die My Love’ co-star while hosting a get-together with friends, but realized she only had leftovers to offer him.

Lawrence surprised her friends by retrieving food from the trash while Pattinson was using the restroom and then serving it to him.

I was with my friends, and we were all wearing pajamas, watching the movie ‘Little Women.’ It happened in December,” she said.

She explained that he’d texted her, saying he’d just finished something nearby. She was surprised because Rob loves to gossip and is very friendly, so she immediately invited him over to chat.

He’s almost like a son to me, a really good dad himself, and very reliable when it comes to work. However, he’s a bit forgetful about taking care of himself – he’d likely go out without a coat or forget to eat. It just brings out my protective instincts.

The actress recounted that when he arrived, she hugged him, and he immediately asked if she had any food, saying he was very hungry. She responded enthusiastically, inviting him inside and promising to feed him.

He went to the bathroom, and I realized I had some food, but it was all in the trash. While he was occupied, I started digging through the garbage to find something to eat.

She recalled her friends’ shocked reactions, mimicking their open-mouthed expressions. Then, she described her own response, gesturing with her hand.

He started eating it, and we all just watched, surprised. Then, when he finished, he asked if there was any left because he was still hungry.

‘And I’m like, “Well there is, but it’s in the garbage.”‘

Shockingly, Lawrence says Pattinson helped himself to seconds of the trashed food.

She said he responded with something like, “It’s okay, I don’t care,” and then picked the food back up from the trash and continued eating it.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Pattinson for comment about Lawrence’s story.

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson will appear together in the new movie *Die My Love*. The film is based on a 2017 novel by Ariana Harwicz and tells the story of a mother struggling with postpartum depression and a resulting mental breakdown.

During the talk show, the actress shared that she and Pattinson have a nude interpretive dance scene in the movie.

Lawrence recalled that director Lynne Ramsay pushed them hard during rehearsals. He and Robert Pattinson even had to take interpretative dance lessons together, which was incredibly embarrassing for both of them, as they didn’t know each other well and are both easily embarrassed.

On the first day of shooting, she asked us to recall our previous actions and then inquired if we’d be willing to perform them nude.

Bruce Springsteen, Jeremy Allen White, and Tessa Thompson, who were also attending the show, looked surprised and confused. Jennifer responded with a playful question: “Should I have declined? You all seem pretty shocked.”

She explained how she got the part: Martin Scorsese suggested the project after enjoying the book with his book club, which she found charming.

He told me to take the role. I struggled to picture the story as a film after reading the book, but I wasn’t about to disagree with Marty!

The movie features Jennifer as Grace, a new mom struggling with her mental health as her marriage falls apart. Robert plays her husband, Jackson.

The actress shared that becoming a mother has completely shifted how she views her work, calling motherhood both ‘brutal and incredible.’

Jennifer Lawrence, a mother of two, shared at the Cannes Film Festival this year that having children completely transforms your life.

It completely transforms your life, though it’s both incredibly challenging and amazing. Because of this, every decision about my work – what I do, where I do it, and when – is carefully considered.

This experience showed me a capacity for feeling I never knew I had. Since my work often involves dealing with emotions, it’s been incredibly insightful. It’s like my emotional awareness has expanded, and I’m now very sensitive – almost raw, like a blister.

Having children has definitely improved my life and sparked my creativity. I wholeheartedly suggest becoming a parent if you’re an actor.

Jennifer and Robert are working together for the first time in this film. Robert, who had a baby with his partner Suki Waterhouse last year, shared similar thoughts with his co-star while at the Cannes Film Festival, as reported by Harper’s Bazaar.

He explained that having a baby surprisingly gives you a huge boost of energy and inspires you in incredible ways.

‘Ever since she was born, it’s reintegrated the way I approach work.’
