Spider-Man 4: First Look at Sadie Sink as New Marvel Character on Set (Photo)

I’m so excited about the new Spider-Man movie! A set photo just dropped and it looks like we’re getting our first glimpse of Sadie Sink’s character – it’s all very mysterious! We already knew the cast was going to be huge with Tom Holland, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Mando, but Sadie is a fantastic addition. Honestly, a lot of the buzz right now is all about figuring out *who* she’s playing, and the speculation online is wild! I can’t wait to find out more.

I remember back in August 2025, there was a buzz that Sadie Sink might be playing a character named Annabelle Adams in the Marvel universe, but it was all just speculation. People started throwing around ideas – some thought she could be Mary Jane Watson, or even Mayday Parker, Peter Parker’s daughter from another reality. But honestly, Marvel Studios and Sony have been keeping everything under wraps, so we still have no real clue what role she’ll be playing when she finally makes her MCU debut.

Photographer @UnboxPHD shared the first photos of Sadie Sink on the set of *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* in London. The pictures show her chatting with director Destin Daniel Cretton during a break from filming.

The photo itself shows off some of the costume & hair of Sadie Sink’s new Marvel character.

Photos from the set confirm that Emma Sink’s character will have red hair and wear pants with boots. While the actress was wearing a jacket between scenes, it obscured her costume enough that it’s hard to tell which Marvel character she’s portraying in *Brand New Day*.

In September 2025, the blog The Hot Mic reported that the villain in the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* movie is a shapeshifter. Separately, sources suggested that actor Caleb McLaughlin (Sink) might play a character with connections to the supernatural, sparking rumors he could be portraying the Marvel villain Shathra.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* shows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, beginning a new chapter after the events of *No Way Home*. But his fresh start is quickly complicated by the arrival of new villains seeking revenge on the beloved web-slinger. *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
