Abbie Chatfield shows off her fit figure in polka dot bikini during beach day with boyfriend Adam Hyde – as she’s hit with a second defamation case

Despite potentially facing another lawsuit, Abbie Chatfield appeared to relax and enjoy a beach trip on Sunday.

I was so happy to see that my favorite podcaster was enjoying some time off at Bronte Beach in Sydney! Even better, she had her boyfriend, the talented musician Adam Hyde, with her. They looked like they were having a wonderful time in the water.

The 30-year-old displayed her toned physique in a vintage-style polka dot bikini with shorts-style bottoms.

Going makeup free, Abbie emerged from the water with her wet curls down around her fresh face.

Adam showed off his physique, wearing tiny black swim trunks that barely covered him.

After swimming, she and Adam walked hand-in-hand along the boardwalk. She put on black sandals and a cap.

This news follows Harrison Boon, a former participant on Married At First Sight, stating he’s suing the influencer for defamation. This announcement came shortly after she recently resolved a different defamation lawsuit.

Boon shared that he started a GoFundMe campaign to cover the costs of a potential lawsuit against the former Bachelor star for defamation.

Only six days ago, Harrison started a GoFundMe campaign to cover his legal fees. He says Abbie has been consistently spreading lies and bullying him, which has hurt his business and reputation.

Harrison was upset by a string of harsh social media posts from Abbie, where she called him a ‘sexist’ and ‘far-right extremist,’ accusing him of supporting fascism and Nazi beliefs.

Daily Mail does not suggest any of these allegations are true.

Harrison stated that the comments were untrue, harmed his good name, and negatively impacted his career and ability to earn a living.

Every donation to Harrison’s GoFundMe will be used to cover his legal expenses, including his lawyer, court costs, mediation, and any fees for expert witnesses.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m following this story closely. It seems Abbie’s been navigating some tricky personal situations lately. Just after resolving a previous defamation case, she’s now facing new legal challenges, this time stemming from a dispute with someone she used to consider a close male friend. It’s a reminder that even long-held relationships can sometimes end in conflict.

The social media influencer must pay Heath Kelley, a law student and former Virgin Australia employee, $79,000 after agreeing to a court decision against her.

In addition to other expenses, the court has ordered Abbie to cover Heath’s legal fees, which are around $30,000. This brings her total expenses to over $100,000.

Heath sued Abbie for defamation because his lawyers told her that comments she made about him online were untrue and legally problematic.

She didn’t dispute the accusation, and earlier this month, Judge Wendy Abraham issued orders based on an agreement between both parties.

Abbie, an Instagram influencer with around 550,000 followers, posted untrue and damaging statements about Heath on her Instagram Stories on May 7th.

Abbie made a post expressing support for Adam Bandt, the Greens leader, after he lost his seat in Melbourne to Sarah Witty of the Labor party in the 2025 federal election.

Heath, a friend of Abbie’s since around 2011 when they were in school together, sent her a private message with a video and a comment about the leader of the Green party.

Abbie and Mr. Kelley continued their conversation privately, and Abbie later shared the messages with her followers.

Abbie: ‘Why are you sending me this…? Are you pro Israel? Gross.’

Okay, seriously, I just *had* to tell someone – it’s amazing news that he lost his seat! I honestly feel like I can finally breathe. It’s not just about me, though – I know so many people in the Jewish community here in Melbourne who have been genuinely worried, and knowing he’s gone means they’ll feel so much safer. I’m actually going to sleep better tonight, knowing that’s true. It’s just… a huge weight off everyone’s shoulders.

He added that he supports Israel, explaining that his views align with his advocacy for LGBTQ+ and women’s rights, and he’s visited the region twice.

Abbie: ‘Okay so you’ve lost the plot. By (sic) dude lmao.’

She shared screenshots of her conversation with Mr. Kelley on her Instagram Stories, publicly identifying him by name and tagging his account.

She shared a post saying she couldn’t believe her old high school acquaintance – someone she hadn’t spoken to in years – had contacted her. They hadn’t communicated in at least three years, and possibly six or seven!

Someone who supports harmful and unrealistic ideas is now strangely bothering me about a good, compassionate politician almost losing an election.

Abbie and Heath were once so close that their relationship sparked romance rumours.
