Amy Childs says battling stress made her lose ‘a little more weight than I wanted’ as she embarks on a fitness mission ahead of her wedding

Amy Childs revealed she unintentionally lost some weight due to stress, while starting a new fitness journey.

The 35-year-old reality TV star from “The Only Way Is Essex” worried fans last year and has been working to get in shape with muscle building, preparing for her upcoming wedding.

She’s busy getting ready to marry her fiancé, Billy Delbosq, and they’re planning a grand wedding later this year.

Amy shared that she used to be unhappy with her weight, but is now working with a nutrition coach and hoping to gain a healthy amount of weight.

The reality TV star shared a before-and-after photo on Instagram with a caption saying she was hesitant to post it, but wanted to document her progress so far.

‘So I have to be honest with you allI was overweight and unhappy and wanted to achieve…’

Amy explained that she decided to lose weight, but the process was stressful and she ended up losing more weight than intended. She’s now excited to begin the next phase of her journey with the help of @jon_jkphysique!

Working on building muscle, gaining weight in a healthy way, and getting more toned! I’ll share my progress with pictures on my story.

I’ll be honest, this is proving more challenging than losing weight! Luckily, Jon has been incredibly supportive and knowledgeable about nutrition, and we’re making progress together.

I’m really impressed with jon_jkphysique’s results – whether you’re looking to lose weight, get healthier, or learn more about nutrition, they clearly know what they’re doing and I feel confident working with them.

‘Also, did I say I’m getting married this year.’

As someone who’s spent years helping people reach their fitness goals, I’ve seen firsthand how easily things can go wrong. A mom I was working with recently shared that she’d lost a significant amount of weight – about two stone – but unfortunately, she hadn’t been training correctly. The result? She lost muscle mass instead of just fat, which is something we always want to avoid. It’s a great reminder that proper technique and a balanced approach are key!

Amy recently shared on social media that she’s been experiencing some surprising effects following her weight loss, after first discussing them in an interview with Weekend Magazine.

She said: ‘I now have a nutrition plan and I train three times a week. I go to Padel and Pilates.’

It’s been really difficult for Amy since her brother, Billy, was in a terrible car accident last month and had to be hospitalized. I’ve been so worried about them both, and it’s just heartbreaking to see what they’re going through.

The reality TV star believes her brother was lucky to survive a car crash that completely destroyed his vehicle, saying ‘someone must have been watching over him’.

Amy shared that she’s been having a tough time lately. She’s lost weight from worrying about her mother’s recent heart attack, all while raising her four children: eight-year-old Polly, seven-year-old Ritchie, and two-year-old twins Billy and Millie.

In a heartfelt interview with OK! Magazine, she explained that she’s lost weight due to a very difficult time in her life and the hurtful online bullying she’s been experiencing.

I’m constantly worried about my mum. She gets very upset and often believes she’s having a heart attack.

People have noticed I haven’t been eating much, but that’s not true – I am eating. Actually, I feel healthier when I weigh a little more. I’m just really stressed with everything happening right now, and it’s affecting my weight.
