Joe Manganiello has reportedly popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Caitlin O’Connor.
TMZ reported on Friday that the Magic Mike actor referred to her as his ‘fiancée’ when he introduced her to his friends on Thursday night.
He received a Career Spotlight award at the San Diego Film Festival and gave an acceptance speech.
Joe, age 48, and Caitlin were first seen together in September 2023, shortly after news of his divorce from Sofia Vergara, the star of Modern Family, became public.
Caitlin currently works as a reporter for E! News. She’s also an actress, known for playing Dyan Cannon in HBO’s *Winning Time* and appearing in the final episode of *Two and a Half Men*.
Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Manganiello and O’Connor for comment.
Oh my gosh, I still remember when Joe and Sofia got married back in 2015! It was *everything*. Sofia was absolutely huge, like, everyone knew her from Modern Family, and Joe? Ugh, Joe was just… wow. He was totally blowing up with True Blood and Magic Mike, a total heartthrob. They were the ultimate power couple, seriously!
Their breakup became public in the summer of 2023, and just two months later, rumors connected him with Caitlin, who is 18 years his junior to his ex-partner, Sofia.
Sources say they first met at a hot tub party following an unofficial premiere event for the HBO series *Winning Time*, which is about the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers.
People reported that a source said the couple immediately connected when they first met, spending the entire time talking in the hot tub.
They first appeared together on the red carpet in December, at a gala celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Children Of Armenia Fund, held at Cipriani in Manhattan.
Joe, with a bit of Armenian heritage through his mother, was thrilled to receive an award at the festival and happily posed for photos with Caitlin.
According to Us Weekly, the pair gets along great because they’re both relaxed and easy to be around. A source also shared that she’s down-to-earth and doesn’t require a lot of fuss, preferring to stay in rather than go out and party.
Last year, Sofia publicly stated that she and Joe ended their relationship because they had different views on having children. She explained to El Pais that he wanted a family, while she wasn’t ready to become a mother later in life.
Joe strongly disagreed with her account, explaining that he and Sofia had attempted to start a family for the first year and a half of their relationship. He also insisted he’d promised her he wouldn’t leave if they were unable to have children, and that he kept that promise.

In an interview with Men’s Journal, he explained that children weren’t necessarily the reason for his divorce. He said it happened simply because he and his spouse grew distant, which he acknowledged is something that occurs in relationships.
He strongly denied being portrayed as someone going through a midlife crisis, or as someone who would issue an ultimatum – demanding a partner do something harmful to their health or face losing the relationship. He emphasized that wasn’t his character at all.
Sofia was first married in the early 1990s to her high school boyfriend, Joe Gonzalez. They had a son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who is now 33 years old.
Before marrying again, she dated actor Nick Loeb for two years and they even got engaged in 2012. However, they ended their relationship in 2014.
Earlier this O’Connor told the Daily Mail’s Heidi Parker how she stays in such great shape.
The TV star told the Daily Mail that they eat meals from Precision Food Works, which are customized to their individual health needs based on their blood test results.
Precision Food Works offers a meal delivery service that creates personalized nutrition plans. They use blood tests to scientifically tailor each meal to an individual’s specific needs, according to their website.
Precision Food Works’ software creates custom recipes using special calculations to ensure they have just the right amount of protein, carbs, and fat for each person.

Our advanced nutritional testing uses blood and urine analysis tailored to your specific health needs. While the testing is highly scientific, we explain the results in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
She mentioned her boyfriend, Joe, who she affectionately calls her ‘love,’ is also following the diet. He particularly likes that the program is personalized to each individual, based on their genetic makeup – essentially, what their body is naturally meant to eat.
O’Connor also emphasized the importance of staying hydrated, saying she drinks 2.5 liters of water daily, which she considers essential.
She works out a lot to stay in great shape. “I enjoy exercising and aim to do it three to five times a week, or whenever my travel schedule allows,” O’Connor shared with the Daily Mail.
She enjoys a variety of exercises to stay active. “I love going to Pilates at Alo Wellness Club once a week,” O’Connor shared. “And I try to weight train as often as I can!” She admits she doesn’t enjoy cardio, but makes herself do it by walking on an incline or stairs for 45 minutes.
Sofia Vergara frequently exercises with her husband, Joe Manganiello, at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California. ‘He’s a fantastic person to work out with,’ she shared.
