Molly-Mae Hague confessed she relies on the crew from her show, ‘Behind It All,’ to quickly come to her aid whenever there’s any conflict. She also shared that winning a National Television Award created extra pressure to keep her Amazon Prime show performing well.
As a lifestyle expert, I was really impressed with the young influencer who took home the award for Best Authored Documentary! It’s a huge achievement, especially considering she was up against some incredibly powerful and moving series like ‘There’s Only One Rob Burrow,’ ‘Flintoff,’ and ‘Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me.’ It just proves that authentic storytelling really resonates with audiences.
Everyone thought Rob’s family would win, but in the end, Molly-Mae was the one who took home the award.
She told the Daily Mail at a question-and-answer session in London that winning the National Television Award definitely increased the pressure she was under.
We were already feeling a lot of pressure because I’m a perfectionist and want everything I do to be top-notch. Winning an NTA just adds to that, because then people expect us to maintain that same high quality.
Molly-Mae feels more comfortable sharing in the second series, as she now has a stronger sense of trust with the filming team.

She felt more comfortable trusting her teammates this season and allowed herself to relax a bit, which was a positive change for her.
I probably would have been more reserved or avoided certain subjects because I didn’t fully trust the team last time – it was all new to me, and I wasn’t quite comfortable sharing yet.
To be honest, I’m quite nervous about this, as I’ll be discussing things I’ve never talked about before. But I’m putting my trust in the people I’m working with.
The reality TV star confessed she immediately contacts the show’s production team whenever something exciting or upsetting happens in her personal life, hoping they’ll film it for the program.
You know, they *always* tell me, ‘If anything amazing happens, just call us!’ They’re obsessed with those spontaneous moments, the stuff that isn’t planned. Honestly, that’s what *they* say gets the best results, and I totally get it! I live for those raw, unexpected bits – it’s where the real magic happens, you know?
I often say I don’t want any conflict or excitement, but honestly, when those moments *do* happen, they make for really good entertainment.
The most challenging scenes can be tough to shoot, but seeing everything come together in the final edit makes it clear why filmmakers focus on both the good and bad moments – it really does create a compelling story.
Molly-Mae has spoken about the challenges of being a new mom to her daughter, Bambi, and has admitted she’s sometimes found it difficult to cope with all the responsibilities.

She explained that the show captures the feeling of simply trusting the process and taking things one day at a time. She noted that her experience as a mother is constantly changing, with every week and even every hour bringing something new.
I’ve definitely had some challenges, maybe more than I expected. I’ve learned to accept the messiness and stop striving for perfection. It’s just not realistic! I’m focusing on being the best version of myself and being proud of that.
I generally don’t pay attention to what others say about me. Occasionally, though, I’ll come across some helpful criticism that makes me think, ‘You know, they have a point,’ and I’ll consider a different perspective.
I do sometimes find the comments helpful, but mostly I just focus on my own work – on ‘Bambi’, as I call it.
After winning her National Television Award in September, Molly-Mae said she was simply honored to have been nominated.
‘I think as you guys saw, we were up against some seriously inspirational people in this category.’
Molly-Mae: Behind It All series 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Saturday, October 18.
