Eric Trump recently revealed details about Ivanka Trump’s first romantic interest, a person who has publicly criticized Donald Trump.
The businessman, age 41, shared these statements in his recently released memoir, “Under Siege,” which became available on October 14th.
He shared that Ivanka used to be a huge fan of Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses, even owning a signed poster of him in her bedroom when she was growing up.
Eric wrote that she had a poster of Axl Rose, signed by the singer himself, hanging in her room at Trump Tower. He described it as a reminder of her first crush – a rebellious figure with tattoos, a bandanna, ripped jeans, and a leather jacket.
He recalled that his sibling used to love that singer, and he remembered thinking about it while on a family flight last November, on Election Day.
Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” was playing as they flew from Michigan to Palm Beach on Trump Force One.

Ivanka was raised around the famous band known for 80s and 90s hits like “Paradise City” and “You Could Be Mine.”
Growing up in the 90s, she attended and graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall, a prestigious boarding school, in 2000.
Axl has publicly criticized Donald Trump, who was first elected as the 45th President of the United States in 2016 and recently won a second term.
I remember back in December 2016, even before he officially became president, the singer really started to push back against Trump. It was a noticeable moment for me as a fan – a clear stand against what was happening.
Oh my god, you will NOT believe what happened at the Guns N’ Roses concert in Mexico City! It was insane! Axl Rose had the BEST idea – they brought fans, *meant* to be fans, up on stage and let us absolutely destroy a piñata…but it wasn’t just *any* piñata. It was Trump! Seriously, we all got to whack at it, and it was the most cathartic, amazing moment ever. I’m still buzzing from it! It was pure rock and roll rebellion, and I was part of it!
He’s criticized Ivanka before, for example in 2018 when she publicly supported her father amidst allegations of misconduct.
She told NBC News that asking a daughter to take sides when her father denies accusations is unfair and insensitive.
Axl reacted to the situation by tweeting that it was inappropriate for Ivanka Trump to hold a position in the White House.

That same year, Axl shared his thoughts when Trump met with controversial rapper Kanye West.
The performer posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, calling the recent attention surrounding efforts to address issues in Chicago – and elsewhere – a ‘joke’ and ‘nonsense’ that won’t actually solve anything.
Back in 2020, the singer opened up about his ‘disdain’ for the Trump administration in a tweet.
He started by saying it’s well known that he strongly disapproves of the current administration and believes it poses a danger to our democracy.
I don’t use social media very much, and while I’m grateful when people engage with my posts, I’m not concerned with things like follower counts or retweets.
Axl explained that his posts about political or social issues weren’t personal; he was simply trying to raise awareness about the topics themselves.
He explained that his recent posts were motivated by a strong sense of frustration and a feeling that he had a duty to speak up when he felt remaining silent would make him complicit – not by a desire for attention or to promote himself.
The performer explained he was simply a private citizen with personal beliefs, and genuinely wants the best outcomes for both his country and the world.

People are free to have different opinions about wildlife, the environment, and other issues – just like they are with politics – at least in this country.
Axl acknowledged his views on the subject might be seen as strong, inappropriate, or childish, but simply stated that such responses sometimes occur.
In 2020, Guns N’ Roses released a shirt featuring a play on their song title, “Live and Let Die,” replacing “Die” with “With COVID 45” as a clear jab at then-President Trump, which fans could buy.
Eric’s memoir Under Siege became available to readers earlier this week on Tuesday.

According to the book’s description, the businessman provides a candid and honest account of what it’s like to work within Donald Trump’s sphere of influence, detailing both the successes and challenges.
This is the story of how he unexpectedly led a massive, multi-billion dollar business at just thirty-three years old, with fascinating insights into his experiences in real estate, on the set of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice,’ and during a turbulent political campaign.
The president has been promoting his son Eric’s book, ‘UNDER SIEGE,’ on Truth Social. He posted on Tuesday encouraging people to buy it, noting it’s been very popular and is breaking sales records.
‘It’s a phenomenal book that’s a must-read for everyone. Congratulations Eric, you deserve it!!!’
